Any other non-turbos coming? - If not, count me out of the driving bit as it was too stressful trying to keep up last time

I hate Lotus Notes

Off topic I know, take comfort here or just type "lotus notes sucks" into google for some light relief

I hate it too, every minute of every day that I have to use it, who thought I would yearn for a Microsoft product

Oh, and on topic, Sunday 19th Feb looks OK for me

I may be able to make this now - depends on how the work on the car goes + running it in + mapping. If the car's not ready I might come along anyway if anyone fancies giving me a lift for the drive.....

Gonna see about Brooklands tomorrow. What time suits everyone to get there on the 19th?

We mentioned lunch, so might I suggest we meet at 12 - leaves time for photo's, tyre kicking and a cruise to the establishment of choice.

I will try and arrange tomorrow then once I know the general concensus.

OK, the list so far:

James_H
Begbie
JimO
Bockers
Rmcfarlane
Petep
Vickster
DaveG
Crazycoop
Gumball3000
Emjay
Civic_Legend (?)
Hamster (??)
Suba (?)

Sorry if I missed anyone - let me know.

Meeting somewhere near Brooklands (possibly near Sony just round the corner?) at 12 noon and maybe try and get a few photos. Then a convoy down to the pub at East Horsley (link to map in Begbie's post further up the thread) for some lunch, a natter, and possibly some filming

Then maybe a bit more driving if people are up for it.

So, we just need to finalise the meeting point at/near Brooklands. Needs to have plenty of room and preferably good background for some group photos. I'll go and have a look round tomorrow and see where might be good. If anyone else has any suggestions in the meantime, let's hear them

I'll come along - I've got JIM + Emjay offering me a lift, and I've got an old golf to pottle about in at the moment - so I wont be trying to keep up on the drive!

Jim - thanks for the offer of a lift mate. I've got the settings I used on different boost profiles for the greddy written down in my glove box (and car is with barbz) I should have it back by then though, and I'm sure I'll be popping down there before the 19th anyway....

happy to help you get the little blighter set up mate - would not take too long to do from scratch.

when you install it remember to remove the bung on the third port of the solenoid (the one that has no hoses attached to it)... it's not very clear you have to do so from the instructions!!!!

Spoke to my friend at Brooklands Museum, they are not hosting anything on the 19th and don’t think it will be a problem to let us come in and use the paddock and a section of the banking. - would make for awesome pics, especially if we get a good turnout.

I need to finalise this next week with them, being a museum they may want a small contribution for use of their facilities. Would people be willing to donate a few quid per car for this pretty good opportunity?? (its for a good cause!)
