by then i SHOULD have my 3" full exhaust system with Decat, and the Pro Alloy FMIC and Straight Induction all installed.

At the moment i'm undecided as to whether or not i should get the 3 bar FPR installed BEFORE the RR day, or see the results and possibly install it AFTER.

My worries are that i'll be cronically underfueled with my new mods without the FPR and the trip to the RR will affectely be a waste. Or that i put it in and then go for the RR and find i'm over fuelling and didnt need to put it in anyway.

What do people think?

i'm guessing you've got the evochip aswell then!

also its better to be fuelling rich than lean!

your power should be quite close to mine! last rr i went on i got 230bhp/267lbs, but my downpipe flexi was blowing so lost a bit of power.since then i've had my downpipe upgraded and my turbo upgraded to a T3 Super 60.

I'm getting a FMIC and SIP soon but don't think it will be done in time for this!

anyway, i don't even know i'm going yet as it might still be on the saturday!

Gibbo - can't reply to your PM - your mailbox is full

However, the answer is that they're in Hoddesdon, Herts - about 130 - 140 miles. I live about 25 miles north of brum - I'm happy to lead a mini convoy on the day

Cheers for the Pm,.. have been very very busy these last few weeks.

Unfortuantely I can't do the 27/28th, away that whole weekend, could have done the weekend before, but with my clutch slipping above 1.1 bar, it would have made a very interesting power graph!!

Joe - what's up - you're losing the plot - 28th is AGES away - plenty of time for a new clutch.

And since when did you let prior engagements get in the way of a power run?

Shame you can't make it - I'm sure there will be other days

Maybe our next encounter will be on track - I'll turn my boost down a bit to give you a chance

Nigel - with the numbers that we have is this still on? I don't mind paying a little extra if it means that it can go ahead.

Its currently heading for cancellation

I need 15 runners.

Let's assume that Suba will be OK with Sunday and that we change from Saturday - that will get eldinho in and make it up to 12 Coupes

I could do with us all stimulating some more interest - do we know any other local Coupe owners that can be "persuaded" that they need to see what their car is doing

What about Markus and TurboNick? Aren't they localish?

I'll see if alessandro's about as i'm sure he'd be up for checking his fuelling.

I'll also call Suba tonight and get him to make a post. He was away skiing last I heard from him.

OK - as a teaser for all the possible runners - I will provide FREE OF CHARGE a diagnostic code reader session for each car before it goes on the rollers.

This will check everything on the ECU - air and water temps, AFR, sensor readings and MOST importantly, throttle butterfly angle. Are you ABSOLUTELY sure you're getting as close to the max of 84 degrees as possible?

Many cars have found a large chunk of horsepower simply by correct adjustment of the throttle cable. The worst I've seen was about 65 degrees - the owner reported that the car felt completely different afterwards - probably about 30bhp "found" and of course, totally free!

OK - I'm going to have to make a decision - I'm changing to Sunday. It looks like most, if not all of the original attendees can make it on that day, plus one or two that couldn't do Saturday

Time will be most of the day.

I expect things will get going at 9:30 - 10:00, with cars on every 20 - 30 minutes max

I need to establish a running order - I'll be there from first thing - I'll devise a spreadsheet to record all the data.

We'll also have to establish some parking / vehicle moving system - Perfect Touch's workshop is long and thin, with the dyno cell at the very back - one car will need to be ready, warmed up outside the workshop to drive onto the rollers as soon as the previous car comes out. there's certainly not enough room on their carpark for all the cars.

Confirmed:

Taffy20vt
pfoe -
Kenno
NicksCoop
Yellafella
Mark_k
Suba
Ben20vt

Glad to hear that this now looks like going ahead \:\)

I will aim to get there for around 10am and probably stick around until about 3pm, so would prefer a slot between 10.30am and 1.30pm, if possible.

Nigel - I should have all the bits for my ACR by then, so could possibly help out with the code reading, if you like. It would be useful for me anyway, as I would like to understand how to use it properly, and this looks like an ideal opportunity \:D !

Same as Phil for me really, I'll get there about 10 and have to shoot at 3 or there abouts, can possibly stay longer if required but I'll have to know if advance to make other arrangements for what I'm up to in the evening.

Cheers, Mark ;\)

Thanks for your effort in setting this up Nigel, really looking forward to it!! \:D
