Well it went on the rollers and alls ok with the car \:D only problem is the EVOCARS chips running it slightly lean on idle so im getting the 3bar FPR soon \:D
Was suprisingly underwhelmed with the figures i got considering some of the figures RyanGT and people are quoting out of a 16valver!
What did you other 16vt owners get with a EvoChip, straight thru system, induction and a prv?

With your setup (ie standard turbo) I got 255bhp@5200rpm peak (215bhp at the wheels) at 1 bar, I had and electronic boost controller rather than a PRV set to 16psi or 1.1bar, At my point of peak power however (ie 5200rpm) the turbo would only flow 14psi

Have a graph on photobucket if you want it

What did you get then? got a graph

176BHP/225lbft at the wheels, an estimated 210/365lbft at the fly.
Not brilliant at interpreting the graphs but fairly sure thats right!

Sounds like you have a problem somewhere

Can you post the graph and what was your peak boost?

also i got 230bhp/267lbs with more or less your setup, but my downpipe was fccuked, i reckon i would have been around the 240 mark once my downpipe got replaced!

Saint did you not have an FMIC when you got 255bhp?

Sorry i meant 265! well i set it up to 20 but my boost gauge is obviously out a little bit so ill have to do some tinkering, either way it shouldnt account for that little brake at the wheels!

Sorry, Yes I did have a FMIC on that run, though it shouldn't give too much more power, just safety, but yeah there could have been a couple of extra BHP in that

Nope, that 265 was torque insteada the 365 that i accidently typed "176BHP/225lbft at the wheels, an estimated 210/365lbft at the fly."

Got it done at surrey rolling road, which ive been recommended by loads peeps!

Wheres my BHP gone!!!

176 @ wheels, 210 @ fly, figures corrected for torque which was stated at 365lbs and is meant to be 265lbs.

Keep up at the back there! \:D

Seems alright? The 16VT is 195BHP new? but they'll probably lose about 10 brake over time. So 210 could be an extra 25 brake because of a chip.

Coopless!

210 is still low i think!

i got 213 before my exhaust system, and the exhaust did make a big difference!

it may take about a month but i could always get mine RR at the same place (seeing as the Perfect Touch day fell through) and then we could compare.

My power mods would be:

Evo Chip
3 bar FPR
Colder plugs
3" SS Turbo back with decat
PA FMIC
Greddy Boost Controller

It should therefore give a pretty good comparison, but like i say it wont be for a few weeks yet. (gotta book up for one) how much was yours?

Mine was £50 which i thought was pretty reasonable. Hmm are there any sort of normal factors like having a blowing exhaust etc that could that dramatically alter figures? The reason i ask is because the operator said he heard nothing like it before and wondered if that was the case

When I had a 16vt, I had an evo chip, supersprint exhaust, 3 bar fpr and drilled airbox and it was rolling roaded at 233 BHP.

362bhp of warble
