How much do you think i should ask for my beloved 20vt in sprint blue .
Usual 20vt spec, leather interior, air con, etc
Push button start
38k
12 months mot
5 months tax
on private plate at the moment but will go back to its original irish plate if sold. Since i have had the car it has only been to Motor-mech. Only gets driven in the summer and it put away for the winter.
Has full service history, came back from Motor-mech last week after having a full service and will be booked in for cam belt shortly .
This would be a very reluctant sale if i decide to go ahead so any advice would be gratefully recieved.

What reg? Is it a factory or retro-fitted push button? Is it a six speeder? What type of seats?

should have said 1999 [R]. push button was an after fit which motormech fitted. Standard leather, 5 speed. everthing else is standard no mods.

I'd say 3.5 - 4k then given the mileage (as long as it is verifiable)

With belts and who's looked after it, I'd say £4k - provided the body's in reasonably good shape, no rear bumper melt.

A lot buy on mileage and if the condition's good too I reckon it's gotta be worth £4k.

The body is in ex condition slight chips on front of the bonnet but thats about it really i love the car and really don't want to loose it °(, but new job and lots of miles is going to cost me a fortune in petrol .
But lets be honest i'm never going to find another car like this so i'm between a rock and a hard place at the mo .

Do what I did when I was faced with a 90-mile a day round trip - buy a 15-year-old Clio diesel for peanuts and let it munch the miles.

I presume this was a northern Ireland reg rather than a southern Ireland one. Can you please confirm.

Yes it was Northern Ireland i bought the car 3 Years ago when it was on 23k .
