There is a car i am intrested in on ebay,100,000 miles non turbo when i asked about the oil pressure his reply was:

IF ITS COLD ITS 3 THEN CAN DROP TO AS LOW AS HALF WHEN WARMED UP AS SOON AS YOU ACCELERATE IT GOES BACK TO 3

Don't post in caps it is verboten. I think he means that when hot the pressue is 1.5 bar which is halfway on the pressure gauge. If you read the FAQ's this is acceptable.

Please delete the caps from your post \:\)

That's perfectly normal for the oil, will drop to 1.5 when warmed up and idling but should always be at 3 when moving...if it is less than 3 when moving, could be a problem....it is common for turbos to drink a litre every 1000 miles (non-turbos don't use much IME)

Check out the FAQs for more info ;\)

Doesn't sound cheap to be honest given the lack of history...do you have a link for it?

FAQs, have a look

Oh, and please lose the caps from the titles of your posts

Hmm, well as it has no history you would be very well advised to spend £400-500 having the belts and a service done, which would make it a 2k car...if it is mint, then that would be an ok price. The lack of history would make me wary as these are performance cars that need to be properly maintained. Have a look at it and, as mitch says, make sure you read the buyers guides
