Thanks Flea.
I've checked the guide to RR, but would like to ask another question if ok, as i'm a tad new to this.
The Power Runs - £58.75 inc VAT per car, exaclt what would this show me? I undersdtand the
The reason i'm doing this is to determine if it's worth sticking with my 107k mile coupe, or maybe going for something with less miles and putting some cash into a newer car.
Thanks

First off take some cash just in case the price is a little keener The rollers will give you a power reading for BHP and torque which will give you an idea of how well the engine and turbo are doing. The torque value will be in NM rather than the usual lbs/ft but you can use a conversion tool to give you both values. They should also check the fueling with a wideband lambda i.e. probe up the peashooter, although best to remind them that you want the fueling checked. They use a lambda value for fueling so you should be looking at 7.8-8.3 when on boost for good safe fueling. Finally they'll print out a graph so post it up here for further analysis along with any other info e.g. fueling result

Yes - definitely offer cash - you never know!
I had to prompt them to connect up the recording device to my boost line so they can also record boost levels during the run.
The guy that does the runs is very experienced and very helpful if you ask him for help with any possible problems. Definitely worth talking to.

Dont know if this is any help but i come from chippenham and now live in bristol, when i had a mr2 turbo and the like i used to use circuit motors next to castle coombe race track, they are very competative on price £50phr i think and the old guy who runs the place has so much experiance with engines, always 355's there and track cars from the track next door, also he is a total god with racing carbs too, dont get me wrong its not like they have ps2's in the waiting room or anything but he will let you ask questions and get envolved too, he only has a 2wd roller so its never really that full of the scoobs and the like but if you call them and have a chat its closer to powerstation and i WOULD reccomend them..

What do you mean hand fan?? when i was there they had a huge fan there?? Oh well each to there own, i just think that going to places like powerstation and interpro costs alot more, you have to pay for there plush premises and waiting rooms, id go with experience everyday, the guy there has been doing it like 25-30 years., my 5 pence worth.....

Not used Circuit but Fishy did and wasn't impressed with their hand fan and Unchip mapping. As for Interpro, well they are booked up for weeks/months in advance... Bristol's full of chavs true lol, i remember going there to get my escort set up on throttle bodies, had to book about 4 weeks in advance

I would seriously stay away from that place, when i took my old coupe there it was underpowered due to a stretched throttle cable although they thought the 181bhp it made on the rollers was "impressive". I wasnt allowed into the roller room to watch, the printout looks like its been done on a printer from the 80s. All this for £70 an hour.
