i noticed that,i was off here for 4 years and fishy dave was always thinking of selling up and changing his mind at the last minute,catman from scotland was on alot and i tihnk he sold up,joe from leeds (rog used to all the work on his coop) my mate bought his coop off him

Indeed - last time I spoke to him, Jap said was selling the (frankly gorgeous) Red LE to buy a Golf, due to work circumstances.

He did say he would still be around on the forum, although admittedly I've not seen him since.

I don't think it quite happened like that. In fact I don't ever remember a vs 911 Turbo thread from Welly. Mostly it was VAG products and the occasional big Merc from 77.9-85.4mph, and you all seemed to think it should pull 10 lengths. Sure he added a bit of spin to get everyone going, but you're exaggerating the claims a bit there.

What happened to 'Jacey Boy' - he was the one I envied most, as when I first came on the 'old' Forum, because of his car - as he had a X plate Plus, which was only 2 years old at the time lol. Didn't he have a major ruck with someone
