Just been to a bodyshop to get a quote for painting and he asked me the following.

Do you want the skirts etc fitting first then painted or painted then fitted? I have no idea blush

I was going to get the rear lip fitted first and have the bumper painted off the car.

Front bumper will be painted off the car and I will fit later.

How easy is it to fit the skirts and rear lip, DIY job? Might save a few quid if I do it idea

The rear lip is a pain - take the bumper off to do it. Skirts are not too bad, but I did not find it easy.

On scotts green I'd ordered the kit from mariusz pre-sprayed and fitted myself, on that colour the paint match is easy and spot on.

I have a Factory Zender sat in my Garage, just needs to be fitted.

Also

What Adhesive needs to be used to stick the bits on?

tiger sealant. Difficult bit is keeping them in the right place while it hardens. I made up a couple of brackets for the rear lip and skirts and used a large plastic sheet pulled over the top of the skirt from the door jam - under the car and then held taught by the door on the other side.... smile

My local Alfa / Fiat specialist has had a look today and thinks it will take him about 3hrs to fit.

I then visited a paint shop that Gary recommended. The chap looked over the car and is preparing a quote for painting the Bonnet / Front Bumper / Rear Bumper / Skirts and bootlid. Looks like the whole lot will come in for less than £1000. cool

Fingers crossed smile

Good luck! If your feeling even semi-brave id advise having a go at the fitting yourself, its dead easy!

Fit the rear lips and skirts yourself then get them sprayed on the car.

i personally think this is the only way for the best finish with no gaps.

cost me nearly 600 quid to have zender front bumper sprayed, skirts and complete rear bumper inc lip. (already fitted to the car by me).

not cheap but worth it,average prices was 450 but i wasnt happy with how the garages explained they would fit etc.
