Looks like the best car i've ever owned will have to go due to relationship split and house sale/flat purchase - don't want to sell but i've sold everything else!

So - how much please?

Sprint Blue 20vt 1997 P

79500 miles
Bought at approx 63k with no service book but loads of receipts and MOT certificates.
Had full inspection @ Powerfiat and has been serviced there at least 4 times since.
Also had new rad, cambelt change, oil cooler and pipes, clutch, bonnet struts and wishbones all done by Rog

Its got
sparco strutbrace
K&N cone filter
360 front bumper
Cada sideskirts and rear bumper
18" Dare V5 allots with Toyo tyres
Single exit pipecraft exhaust
Zender grille with pinin badge
Clear side repeaters
Momo Race steering wheel
Barnacles diagnostic widget (latest blue screen - not wired in yet)
Greddy turbo timer
Lowered on Eibach springs

Bad points
The usual stone chips (not too bad tbh)
Approx 2 inch long and 2cm high bubbled paintwork/surface rust on rear quarter above rear bumper
Top of one sideskirt needs re-tiger sealing
Rear bumper is about one shade lighter as ordered pre-sprayed from Mariusz (doesnt notice when polished)
(Had a quote for 'rust' and sideskirt work of £300)

This is a much loved car, with all mods made for aesthetic purposes that hardly ever gets used to its potential as its predominently used for my work run meaning i arrive before the engines upto temperature (and so i dont really drive on boost). Oil level etc is checked at least every few hundred miles and a can of selenia lives in the boot just in case \:D

Price ideas please (so i commence crying.......)

Thanks to whatmoretyres for hosting pics - apologies they are from my phone only

Keep it Justin. Whats a few grand difference going to make anyway. Rent for a bit (or lodge), flat share or something but keep the car.

and sorry to hear about your split.

its the few grand i need to pay the ex the money i owe her. already bought a new place (ive downsized from a flat to a house at 26 - thought u only did that when u retire.....?!!) so thats eating up all my other money - not that ive actually moved in or anything - living back at the parents and paying solicitors far too much money at the moment........

Nightmare dude, sorry to hear you're selling. I think the lack of service history stamped up will hurt you on the open market. I think you're well within your rights to ask £3600 for that, with a view to accepting up to £500 less.

You don't mention which keys you have though! \:\) we all know how fussy some are - £200 less if no Red key I'm afraid.

Will keep an eye out if this comes up for sale... ;\)

Good Luck
Alex

Its got all the keys and a folder full of everything ive spent on it since new - i took the view that even tho the service book was missing it got a clean bill of health from the RAC inspection and more importantly powerfiat, and everythings been documented since then

Thanks for your comments

Orrrr, you could sell the mods separately then sell the car standard.

I'm first in line for the strut brace / barnacle widget and the grille ;\) \:P

Seen this coupe around a few times and it looks nice, but never when I have been in mine. I almost waved at you on pump lane last week and then realised I was in my wifes car, you would have thought 'why is that guy waving at me, I don't know him' \:D

You know that you'll only see sense and get another one a few months after selling it! Just ask Shippy ;\) So why endure the interim months of Cooplessness??!!

There is NOTHING out there that compares for the money! NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING \:D

If you really need to sell then I guess the choice is already made \:\( , however, going from my experience \:D and your comments on the car, Tabs has a very good point \:\)

If you're back to living with your parents you've got to keep it - just to keep your sanity.

unless of course, you've got kids - in which case the best price you get.

I think its illegal to sell children these days, but if it meant keeping the coupe I suppose its worth it \:D
