Over the last year or so I have noticed an increase in the number of coop owners acknowledging each other. I quite like it when we wave at each other.

I was thinking of selling mine next year, but everytime someone waves at me in a friendly way it changes my mind! lol.

I wave but most of the time I get the finger...... Nah I just get ignored but have had a few wave or flash back.

I tend to get full-on thumbs out of the window (or more) or side-by-side pointing and laughing with windows down. The double takes are funny. Had some guy in a CTR guy laughing as he watched me and a Bloo coop doing this down a DC in MK only a few days ago.

Got to start shaking hands at the same time on DC's, or high-fives on SC's.

I had a great run with a Skyline GTR 33 the other day, and when they caught up with me (I was cruising in the middle lane by now) they both smiled, gave the thumbs up, and zoomed off flashing the indicators...I did the same back - good fun !

That's just going too far!!

I wave, but maybe being LHD doesn't help....

Why am i not shocked? lol, though if i ever pass you in my coop ill be sure to try and shake hands...now to try jerry rig/steering device so i can lean out the n/s window...

I always wave enthusiastically (wife makes herself as small as possible next to me ). I guess maybe half wave back. Alfa GTV owners are better at it but they are a bit rarer and most are women

I love it, but it's only happened twice in my 6 months of ownership

One good run with a Yellow coop on the A38 swapping places and smiling! Then scared another sprinty who was stopped reading something at the side of the road when I hooted at him! Still, got a wave

red and yellows always wave and flash back, all the others seem to miss me?

Alot of coupe owners i see dont appreciate having a coupe!

I think I would wave when I get the coop, as Subaru drivers really tend to do it to eachother and I always wave at another scooby driver, just in the habit of doing it now so will carry on with the coops

Wow, that would get boring for me, can't imagine your hand would spend much time on the wheel the amount of scoobs there are about ...

-_- lol, quite a few people don't bother waving and its not like I stick my hand out the window shaking my hand all over the place lol, but i like it, nice to be a bit friendly and show appreciation to a good car! ^_^

my dad waves at coupe drivers in his vectra, but they never wave back

I waved at a guy in a 20vt today and he waved back....girlfriend was well impressed lol!

Waved and flashed at a portofino coupe in Knebworth today but when it got closer it was being driven by a 'Lady' of at least 65 who could barely see over the dash.... no wonder she didn't notice me. (No offence if a your a forum babe).

this happend to me i totally wasnt expecting it though as it was an older women... haha..

I always make it a point to wave of give a flash of the lights if going in the opposite direction, or pull alongside if on a DC or motorway for a thumbs up / smile / wave / blat.

If I miss one, I feel awful. Also, if I see one, I always make a point of adding it to the "Coupe Spotting" pages.

Felt like a prat waving at one guy the other day.....I was in the Xantia. Doh!

I must admit, even in the Accord I point very obviously at Coops. I guess to make it seem as if I'm saying "there's one!". Gets some funny looks.

Got a nice flash on cam over the weekend with a Yellow one. They were coming the other way on a DC. I flashed them first, they flashed back. Felt very naughty!

Dunno if it's just that Coop owners round here aren't into the 'scene' thing but I give a quick flash of the lights to an oncoming Coopy everytime, very rarely get anything back tho
