Nice one Paul. I know a few great (and I mean great) roads up in the Beacons, but it depends where you fancy going. It's always nice to include a town to turn some heads !!

Geraint won't be coming as I saw his Coop up for sale on Autotrader the other day.

probably about 12:30 ish. Usual layby?

I thought we could go up the A470, turn off for Hirwain, then turn to Ystradfellte for some scenic driving, then to Defynog then that great bit of road to Dan yr Ogof for a drink at the usual pub at Glyntawe . This is a top little route, with some amazing views. Pub is called Tafarn Yr Garreg.

Important note, the small road through Ystradfellte and onwards has a few bumps from which you could get "air" if you are going more than xxmph - so be warned.

I had a good day guys - hope you did too. Pity about the fog, we'll have to have another drive when it's a bit warmer - perhaps a full day with a pub lunch in the middle.
