On 29th of August I went to my second RR session. This time I used my PRV from Armval. Before I went to the RR I set it to 1.3 bar. I use a Autometer 3303-J if you didn´t know that.
Last year I had my car RR´d for the first time. You can read about it here: The Swedes first RR

Previous result:
Crankshaft: 255hp at 6100 / 368Nm at 3300 (271 lb/ft)
(Original: 220hp at 5750 / 310 Nm at 2500)

My mods this time:
Pro Alloy FMIC
Gtec2
NGK BKUR 7ET
Blueflame 2.75" from turbo and all the way to the bumper
Motorsport 100 cells race cat
Pro Alloy SIP with APEXi Cone filter
Forge DV006
Armval BCV11 set to 1.3 bar

Original TB28 \:D
Petrol: 99 octane V-Power from Gothenburg.
Ambient temp: 17 degrees C
Intake temp: 32 degrees C

RESULT
Crankshaft: 274hp at 5500 / 381 Nm at 4600 (281 lb/ft)
(Original: 220hp at 5750 / 310 Nm at 2500)

Graph here: Power, Torque and Boost
The fuelling was okay or was it \:P \:\? , I´m not an expert when it comes to fuelling. Maybe a little bit to rich at the top (AFR 10.7 at 6500) and a little bit lean on low revs (AFR 13 at 3000 rpm). I will post another graph with boost pressure and AFR.

Max boost pressure: 1.32 bar (pretty good boost gauge and PRV \:\) )

So what do you think guys?? Feel free to comment ;\)

That looks to me to be a near perfect setup Fantastic result on a standard turbo, excellent spool and low down torque which builds to a very healthy peak torque and then holds very strongly to the redline. The fueling looks perfect and I wouldn't worry about it going into the high 10s at peak rpms. You have yourself one very sorted coupé \:\)

You can set the boost to 1.4 bar. The question is how long will the turbocharger last?? \:\)
I´ll set the boost to 1.1 bar when I´m on the Track.

By the way, why doesn´t The Hall of Fame work?
I want to compare my setup with others \:P

More graphs \:\)

AFR graph. This one show the AFR during my first run. As you can see, there is too much fuel at the top. I want the AFR to be 11.5 - 12. New chip is on the way \:\)

The difference between EBV/PRV regarding boost pressure can be seen here: Boost pressure
The EBV is much faster in the beginning but the ECU adjustment is too slow (or the EBV doesn't react quick enough), so I get a roller coaster curve. The PRV holds the boost pretty nice \:\)

Isnt that fueling rather lean at low rpm's? Over 13 for fair bit....Im sure when I took mine in it was bit like that on the Gtech1 ie too lean low down. I was advised not to go to track days with it like that as Id damage the engine by the days end. I put in a Gtech2 & turned the boost upto 1.2bar & it was near perfect ie went its leanest at redline at 11AFR. The Gtech2 overfuels quite a lot (in mine anyway) on low boost.

Am I talking rubbish guys as Im not an expert but trying to relay what I was told on my RR. Dont want anyone to risk engine damage which could be pevented.

Chris

ps...why is intake temp 32 if ambient only 17? Mine was intake of 18 with ambient 17?? I dont get that??

Only one degree more than ambient temp? Wow you have a really effective IC \:\) . My inlet temp has always been 15 degrees over ambient temp. When I was at the track I saw 35 degrees C and the ambient temp was 20 degrees. I get my temp from the Widget.
I don´t use the PRV during track days. For safety reasons I let the EBV decide the boost pressure ;\)
