well it finally happend..after 4 years driving and 11 cars ive finally crashed one..and you guessed it , its the coupe when i say crashed tho i havent whacked it doing 50mph...more of a case of being an absolute idiot and not paying attention, hitting a concrete pillar at my works underground parking..meaning a new door and wing. so seeing as fiat thoughtfully gave me a wonderful quote of £550 for a new door i got on the hunt and bought one off scrapped 20v for £50 But my car is ink black and the new door is yellow. either way to try and cut this story alittle shorter..im thinking if im going to repray the door i may aswell do the whole car a different colour...love the ink black but ive got some ideas forming

haha yeh i know what your saying, its an awesome colour...guess its just a case of, if im going to spend alot of time respraying the car it would be good if it was going to set the coupe apart from others...wouldnt be anything stupid though.
one idea is the dark grey/silver they used on the limited editon skyline R34...then get my 17's done matt black, keep with the moody look the ink black gives my car at the moment

im not a massive fan of gloss or matt black wheels on most car sbut think with the right colour conbination it can add a really tough look, matt black more so...its all ideas at the moment though, had the coupe for a year and half now and have always wanted to take it to the next level just never decided ona definate route..the crash is kinda giving me a push in the right direction though

No offense, but black is such a common colour throughout the car industry. How can that then make the coupe stand out?
Personally dude, i would get quotes for spraying it, as it'll be more than you think to completely change the colour.

I agree h2ypr, Ink Black Coupes do look fantastic but I find them much more easy to miss when driving along, they tend to blend in a little.
Up close though, I love the colour.

a white coupe would look ... if its kept clean! Yeah, I`ve got one and hate when it`s dirty, dirt is so visible on it( But when clean this color shows shape of the car perfectly

From Ink Black to White? Have you spoken with the paint shop yet? You could be surprised with the extra cost due to extra masking layers that they need to put on.

well if i decide to spray the car or go a new colour ill be doing it myself...as a long term project...BUT there is the possibility of me fixing the door on this one, then selling it to get another coupe ive got a punto turbo project on the go at the minute so will do what ive got to do tht then decide which route to take...ive got too damn attached to my 16v N/A tho, but know it makes sense to get a turbo
