I was 25 when I bought mine back in 2003...turn 30 in a couple of weeks, and hope I have another one on the drive soonish.

iv had a skyline,200sx,starlet turbo before the coupe

Tell the truth just after the war was the worst time, parts were still on ration. No one had any petrol, dealers only open 3 days a week.

Luckily my wife used to do some ironing for the butcher so he always slipped her an extra length of sausage.
Every now and then she'd let me have some left overs and I would swap a sausage or two for petrol vouchers. It was the only way to keep the car on the road.

Parked next to a Porto Blue coop in Tescos car park this afternoon when the driver arrived.

He was 74!!!

Had the coop from new (97) and all servicing (inc cambelt) done at local dealers.

Really nice gent who admitted to still "giving it some" when the need arose.

Still a few one owner cars out there then

Yeah, he'd been looking for a replacement car for 5 years but hadn't found anything below £50K that could match the coop.
