Losing sound on LH channel #59759

I have an intermittent loss of sound on the left hand speakers of my LE. System is a standard factory fit Clarion.

As this loss happens whether using CD, Radio or Tape - and it affects both front and rear I suspect that it is some form of loose connection on the back of the unit. Looking at the manual it seems that Clarion use some kind of flat plates to remove the head unit rather than the pin type so I guess first thing is to get some and pull the unit out and have a look.

But, ahead of this, any comments on what the problem might be>

there are a pair of push-in connectors at the back of the
stock clarion unit.

I had intermittent left channel as well. when I moved
the radio about , the left channel came back on-off-on.

remove the radio and refit the two connectors.

it'll sort itself.
