Hiya. I've managed to buy a leather interior for my coop and will probably be putting it in this weekend. Anybody got any tips for putting it in? I've never done it before and don't know how easy/difficult it might be.

Ta.

I can't really think of any tips, but the interior is quite easy to take out \:\)

You'll have to take out the old interior first, so any problems you find, you'll find them then and know what to do when you put the leather in.

It's quite straight forward though \:\)

One tip is to get the front bolts in first and do not do them up tight until the rear bolts are in. It is quite easy to strip a thread otherwise °\(

Also take a pic, with your phone, of the plastic bits at the rear bolts. As otherwise you will wonder which way they go when you come to re-fitting.

I find fitting the rear seats easy, I undo the centre pivot point (2x13mm bolts) with a ratched spanner and the seats up. Getting the new seats in is harder as there is little finger room to get the bolts back in. But even with my sausage fingers it did not take long.

Oh yes. Gliptone them before they go in.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely leaving it 'till the weekend now to give me a day to sort it out.
