I used to use FJ donkey's years ago for my 124 Spider, never tried to put my Coop on a classic policy (too many mods ) seemed OK, never made any claims so don't really know, but the fact they've been around forver must count for something?

I used them for my modded 20vt. Not cheap, but cheaper than I could find elsewhere at short notice.

Got my Scimitar with F&J for 124.00 quid inc. European Breakdown cover.
Tried to put my Coupe on a classic policy & they turned me away. They said it had to be 20 years old or over for Fiats. They only Fiat under 10 years old from new they would touch was a odel I'd never heard of????
I'm sure I have read on here about people getting a classic policy on the Coupes...
I went with A-Plan in the end, insured with Business Usage & European Brakedown for 450.00FC

Footman James were willing to insure a 98 20vt unmodified coupe fully comp for £300 for me on a classic policy, milage limited to 4500 per year and excess of only £100. I thought that was pretty good as paid more than £500 with Admiral last year.

A-Plan do it over the phone mate.
If I could have taken it out on a Classic policy with F&J I would have.
Stupid bellend in the call centre...
Mind you, it does'nt surprise me with todays left wing employment rules. Why do they insist on employing people in call centres who have no idea about what they are selling & what would benefit the customers needs best.
I did get a quote from F&J & it was £900 odd.
Before I bought another Coupe, I looked at an MX-5 mk1 & phoned up F&J for a quote.
Me; I'd like a quote on an MX-5 please CC; How many doors does it have? Me; err, 2
I mean for crying out loud, one of the most popular modern sports cars in the World & you have to ask that.
Get a grip, FFS
I hate renewal time!
There, I feel better now...

I got fully comp recently with Privelege for £500. Not bad considering 4 years NCB, 3 points and having had an Alfa written off (not my fault I hasten to add - malfunction on the bonnet catch, which flow up at high speed and smashed the windsreen and top of the motor - such is life!!!)
