Presume you've checked cars for sale ;\) There is one in Glasgow

http://www.fiatcoupeclub.org/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=675024#Post675024

but be prepared to travel...I went over 200 miles for my third (my brother went 400 miles each way for his Alpina)! But then everything is about 200 miles from Aberdeen \:D

Jonnyhal is right about bell!! £725 fully comp. 21 year old student with 2 Years NCB. Which is half what I paid last year for TPFT! Oddly however a quote for a 20v Turbo comes up the same as my 20v NA. Almost makes me want to upgrade!

I found insuring a 20v and 20vt pretty much the same. 16v and 16vt were similar too, although both around £80 less than the 5-cylinder cars..

Quite happy really - at 28 it seems insurance isn't really an issue anymore, went from a group 14 to group 17 car and was only £30 more.

Now, if only I could afford a Ferrari, perhaps the insurance on that would be reasonable...

it is suprising how much difference a post code can make, when i first got my coop it cost me £800 for a 10mth policy.

now i have 3yr NCB, 2 accidents (not my fault:) ) no points \:\) (fingers crossed) and with all my mods declerd it is £600, im 25 too.

Forget confused, talk to the insurers in the coop friendly insurers sticky in the insurance section...however, your age and no ncb is not going to be good on a group 18 car!

Flexibel is from Bell. It has reduced options on it, eg no hire car if yours goes in for repairs etc You have the option to select them individualy if you want them.

sorry to everyone for this,
ive just got a coupe 20vt,
my dad-in-law whos 65 put him on the insurance main driver and me as an aditional driver and it was £358 fully comp with direct line so i get no claims aswell!!
btw im 21 with 4yrs no claims its cheaper than my old bravo hgt!!!!!

Was going to get a 16v turbo but a 20vt cropped up for just over a grand and only 30 miles from me, so jumped at the chance for my first turbo car!!

And i was well pi55ed of when the insurance without me was 186!!!!! with swindon god i wanna be old sometimes!!!

I do assume that you only occasionally drive the car and that your father-in-law is the main driver - if not, this is fronting and insurance fraud wink
