DanielTheManual Unregistered D	I have 205/40 ZR 17 on the front, and am getting new tyres fitted to the rear. Would it be okay to fit 215/40 ZR 17 on the rear, and then fit the same at the front at a later date?

coupedummy Je suis un Coupé C Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,960 west bromwich	should be ok,sure its gota be the same tyre size on the same axel.e.g same tyre sizes on front. I had 205's on the front and 225 on the rear of my coupe and nothing was mentioned at the mot.

belfastjohn Unregistered B	I had 185 knobbly tyres on front and 215 road tyres on rear of a morris ital estate (on standard rims!!!!) God knows what it did to the handling, it was a piece of st to begin with
