To make full use of the scottish sunshine, I'm thinking we should have a day out of maybe karting and BBQ thereafter.
Would anybody be up for this? We don't have much scottish folks so this is open to anybody willing to travel. The more the merrier.

At the moment I'm thinking of sometime in July. Picnic venue to be confirmed...oh and slowest person in karting would have to do the barbequeing.

I'm going to be selling my coop shortly so unless I can turn up in the GP I won't be attending. Also have a lot of wedding related stuff to do in the meantime so quite short of spare time anyway

As with any other scottish meets we've tried organising in the past, it ends up not getting anywhere because we just don't have the numbers. At the moment we have:

1) Kelv
2) Sparky
3) Baz
4) Hubby

I'm fine with it even if its just 4 guys but It would be nice if we could also get new members to come along to this. Wheres the rest anyway? MattB, Matty, Sparco, MadCoop, Steamer, Kevcrab?

I'll try and make it along. From my point of view a BBQ is more work than just going somewhere to eat - means carting food + BBQ's etc about the place, finding somewhere to have it and such like. But then I am infinitely lazy.

Im defo up for this one if i can manage to get the time off work!! Soundz like good fun, will be my first meet if i attend.

I'd love to have a quick blast up north but cant make 4th/5th, its my daughter's 18th.

The dates are not fixed yet. If you guys have another suggestion for a date then feel free to put it in. We'll try and sort something out in which as many people as possible can make it.

You're right about the BBQ being more of a hassle Matt. Just thought it would be more fun than just going somewhere to eat. Carting food wouldn't be so much of a problem. We've got spacious coupe boots .

If we are going for the bbq route, maybe everyone could contribute to a kitty and I can buy the food and disposable grills. If majority of us can't be bothered then we can go down the lazy route

as kelv said the date isnt fixed yet so if everyone one could put up a prefered date and hopefully we can get a good turn out as scottish meets are few and far between

Theres a nice spot i can think of at the moment. Its in Crossford near Lanark. A nice shaded area, feels private, by the river.

i could have a look up if the carlisle lot are, might aswell since my north east thread isnt working out! depending on dates though..

I should be ok for most dates,I would just need to check Kim's shifts to see whether she`ll be able to go. The only ones I know that I can`t do for definite are 4th July and 26th July (TOTB).
