My Brembos have turned a nice golden colour from the stock silver (see below) through getting them quite warm on a couple of track days
[Flame suit] I actually quite like the gold colour ... I think it works well with the gold flake in Scotts Green. I'm currently refurbing a spare set of front and back calipers, and so am wondering whether I should go with gold, rather than silver/red? [/Flame suit]
Does it look too much like a scooby-wannabee ? What do you think?
As Per above. I had an Uno T, which developed a weird rusty/coppery colour on the front calipers as they got too hot on a couple of racing days.
Apparently on cast iron or cast alloy calipers if the colour changes it's indicative of metal fatigue. Not sure if this applies to the painted Brembo calipers though...
I thought I'd get a lot of flack for suggesting this But it seems that most people seem to like the idea ... I suppose the fact that they are gold already helps
