I have managed to snap the connector which fits onto my key ring. At the moment I have used a very small resealable bag with gaffer tape to keep it on my keyring.

I need to get a new fob but don't know were to get one from. I don't know whether the inners of my one can be transfered.
Any help would be greatly appreciated but I lose my fob

depending on what fob you have, its not the end of the world.

this happened on mine (siren type) and i just drilled a hole in the body of the fob (top end has nothing in it) be carefull and use a thin drill bit.

not perfect but a solution
