It's something that's been discussed for years, on and off. Now we see what's been done...

Ignoring trim details and tidying up.. I really don't like the diagonal windscreen brace; it intrudes too much into the passenger compartment. I can't help feeling it would have worked better as a targa top, and that way the doors could have been left intact.

hmm it has potential the front end of the car would lend its self to a good looking convertible, but personally i think it could do with being a shorter wheel base and made into a 2 seater with(not sure what its called) but the roll over bars behind each seat matching up to body work that then tapers down to the back!

but hey thats a hell of a lot of work and the floor pan is probably not strong enough! remember seeing the sill section on an Escort cabriolet it may as well of been an RSJ under there lol
