I just thought I'd say hello as I'm a new member! I used to own a red 16V n/a until 2007 after 5 years of ownership.
But I've just managed to buy the model I wanted all along...a 20VT Plus in Broom Yellow! She's being pampered by the boys in Basildon at the moment, having gone in for a comprehensive service, cambelt and whatever else they find needs attention. Also looking at some body work, respray and alloy refurb! Hopefully, I'll get her back in a couple of weeks or so depending on prognosis!
I first laid eyes on a Fiat Coupe back in 1995 when they were new and, like many of you I guess, the Coupe is the only car about which I've said to myself "I gotta get me one of those!"
So, here's hoping for many years of driving and obsessing over my special car!

Did you buy the 180k one from James? Bloody wanted that one, but too far to travel... If not, then hope all is well when you get it back!

Or did you buy Westie1's Broomy Plus?
Either way, a very good choice. A twin to my own broom yellow Plus. A very rare combo.
Well done on your excellent taste.

Hello, and thanks for the warm welcome!
I bought Westie1's! (I'm sure she won't mind my telling you!)
I drove it all the way back to Harwich from up T'north - I have family there so it was worth the trip anyway! Runs very well! So far I've driven it a total of five and a half hours, so I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already!
The next time I drive her...she should be sparkling!

I don't mind at all Paul. I am very happy that she's gone to such a good home where she'll get all the care and attention she deserves.
Can't wait to see the pictures after the respray!
