1/18 scale Coupe model

Some of you are aware that a 1/18 scale model Fiat Coupe is due to be released towards the end of the year.

The club is investing funds to ensure a supply of these for our members.

Prices are not yet fixed, we have still to see what the postage cost will be, but I expect it to be in the region of £50 delivered within the UK.

Quite easy to respray one to match your Coupe I should think !

The model in the Top Marques link does not exist, it was never made and I believe that that company has abandoned plans of making their own model several months ago.

AFAIK it will be a LHD 20vt only without sideskirts or sunroof etc., so might need customising if you want it to look *exactly* like your own Coupe(s)

It's almost identical to the BX GTi that I owned apart from being LHD and missing the UK standard sunroof.

Do we have to declare quantities required now, or can that be decided later when a price is agreed.

We need to have a good idea of how many will be wanted. We have asked for a quantity to be allocated to the club, for which the club will pay upfront. Ideally we wish to match exactly with how many our members need.

We certainly will not be asking anyone for money until we are sure what they will cost. The expectation is that the price delivered in the UK will be around £50 maximum.

The manufacturers tell me that deliveries will start from the end of November so you should be good for Christmas.

I see that listing has now been removed from ebay, possibly because Otto will not take any orders before October, however at £79.99 each that would have been considerably more than we expect to be able to sell them for.

We are still looking at delivery options and costs. When we have finalised those we will be able to start taking your orders and money.

I have just yesterday bought a sprint blue 20v turbo 6 after my scots green got the rust. So I reckon I want one please.

I already have a diecast matchbox sized one in red which I got off ebay several years ago.

Another late comer to the party. Don't have a coupe any more, but would sure love one of these.

I'd like to keep one standard, but modify another (Paint it Moon Grey, with Plus wheels, Plus lips, sideskirts, red Brembos etc)

Hi,just recieived my coupe model(number 302),nicely packed and wraped,maybe the colour a bit dark.i am quite pleased just need to find a shelve ... somewhere.

My model arrived today. In the packaging i found a small wrap of plastic with the front and rear Fiat stickers inside!(spare one's?)

I got mine too, and i also got the extra stickers.

Sorry Gimmo, but as I wrote earlier we can only send them to UK addresses as the postage costs elsewhere in the EU make it cheaper for you to buy them from Otto direct.

For you in Italy they will cost 64€ each delivered direct from Otto.

The consignment has now reached me, 5 very large boxes.

I will start sending them out this afternoon by signed for 1st class post. If you have paid for 2 models they will be coming in individual parcels, oddly enough it is more economical to send them this way.

All have now been posted except Pondman and Serg1 whose models will be handed over on Sunday.

I`m going to swap one of mine for a Mitsubishi on gum tree and break the other one for parts as most of you will need some in the next 12 months

Erm got mine today but it is sprint blue and left hand drive.

Where can I get an 1:18 scale Super Sprint exhaust fitted?

Two minor criticisms of the model. The underscore on the 20VT pillar badge is silver, and mine doeesn't appear to have a dead fly in the brake LED light bar

Does your coupé by any chance have a black roof?

Bear in mind you have replied to a thread which was started nearly seven years ago....

Probably the only way you'll obtain one of these models is by trawling ebay tbh - last time I was aware of one you were looking at up to £150

I think you'll also find they tend to come in yellow or sprint blue...

If I sell my Coupe on Friday, I may have a Sprint Blue Otto 1/18 model that I could be persuaded to part with. Never been out of the box.

Donovan, I should warn you that if you attempt to PM Nigel it will fail until you have completed 5 posts...
