Agreed gotta be worth a punt. I'll bet you could offer £300 cash and it'd be on your trailer.

Spoken to the seller and it seems 20k on the clock might not be true. He bought it in 2006 with 400 odd miles showing on the odo. So many had the clocks changed? No history to back it up pre 2006.😔

Surely it can't possibly be a 20k mileage car if the cambelt snapped? The bodywork looks good though.

There's not a chance it's done only 20k. You can see on the seats and the steering wheel. I'd guess at 80k. I also reckon it may have had a respray looking at the lower rear bumper lip.

Still looks a nice car.

broom bonnet lifter and red grill (cmplete with pull) looks familiar - sold last year? looks in great condition, mechanics aside. and each to their own, but the centre console would need reinstating...

I kind of agree. The thing is a LE does tend to go for more money, but if the bottom end has gone you may end up nearer 2k in bills if the turbo and cooler aren't salvageable.

The flipside is that a decent LE is pretty rare. Could it be a 5-6K car when sorted?
