Coupe owner average age?

Was just wondering whether Im too old to be reliving my youth and considering taking the plunge into fiat coupe ownership again. Ive owned many fast, expensive and powerful cars in the past and only recently sold my audi S4 for something that now suits my circumstances and lifestyle (Volvo XC90). As Ive now sold my audi and both my road bikes I just fancied having a toy (we all need one) to keep be busy and thought why not?

Anyway, not sure if an old merc or jag would have suited my age group more or not but the boy inside just doesn't want to leave. So, on that note I was going to categorize age groups rather than just ask everyone to disclose actual ages and see what the average age of the coupe owner is these days. Feel free to specify your age if you don't mind.......

I'm I. Just for the record, obviously there are cars that really float peoples boats & most petrol heads would agree that Aston Martin, BMW,Porsche etc are pretty much up there & if money was no option, well what would you have.

The Coop now is a relatively cheap vehicle that still cuts the mustard. In my opinion, a grown up car for a grown up person...
We all know that the Coop gets under your skin & just gives you that smile on your face when sat behind the wheel. Age is just a number......

I think you have to be 40-plus to afford the insurance! I have just turned 57 so I think I am one of the oldest on here. I don't think it's really a mid-life crisis mobile though as I have a sedate VIS and really only wanted one because they are unusual and beautiful and because at £900 it was a snip.

Gosh, when I was 19 I drove a 1967 Austin 1300 with the floor held together with fibreglass patches and rear seat passengers had to keep the windows open because of exhaust fumes!

I was 20 when I could afford a 62 Mini van with a £60 bank loan over 12 months

I was 17,£40 bought my mate & I a Ford Popular 100E, it was my first motor although shared. Mustard in colour, I can't remember the year, but guessing it was about 1960. Three speed gearbox. Happy days....

My first car was a consul classic 1500cc, 3 speed column change bench seats fab looking car very American in styling. Paid £15 for it in the 70s

Bought my first coop when I was A, I'm now C and unless I'm forced into an early grave, I'll 100% still have a coupe when I'm k+

No such thing as too old for a coupe, i remember my dad buying his when I was still at school, he's now in his 50's (although you wouldn't think it to look at him, or witness his driving ) and still loving it more than ever.

If you fancy buying a coupe, I say bloody go for it

My Dad had one of these. It was a great car. In the end he gave it to my brother who got £50 trade-in for it on a Vauxhall Cavalier. The number plate alone on that Consul Classic would be worth thousands now, it was 4114 DP.

I really really wanted an Alfa SZ in 2004 when I bought my BMW e30 to play with ( I had a 16v NA Coupe at the time as a daily driver ) they were about £15k ...now about £40k
