Nice appreciation in 4 months! Watching with interest as it should command a good price. Makes me question is it worth spending the money to restore a pair or buy another!

Me too. I was offered more £8K but wanted to go with the auction. Still, not a bad price and certainly shows prices are rising for good cars

It's unbelievable ..... complete time wasting fool?? It seems that - some people really do live in dream land? I put a post up a few days ago that I had removed as it wasn't the right thing to do really. But I knew 9 hours after the auction ended, when I called the guy - he did not call me - it was a dead end.....

Spoken to the new owner, he will be announcing about his new car in the near future I am sure (once he's seen the car and feels confident and happy); and I am sure will also make a great addition to the membership here.

Next project is already underway Clint, the silver one. Engine and improvements there mate. Will be doing some things to the new house and garage over the next 6 months (managing it away from home) so will keep the coupe collection to one for now.

And actually, the silver one is growing on me every day, t's a really nice car and silver really is my favourite colour in these cars.
