Did a tip run the other day, ended up having a good 10 minute chat with the council operatives about the coop.

One thought it was a porsche 924 though crazy After a bit of education I left happy.

Then, on the way home I stopped at McDonald's drive through, yes I know it's dirty, but as I left there were 2 young boys, no older than 12/13, filming me on their mobiles making broom broom noises.

Doubt you'd catch a load of people asking about or taking pics of the latest fast golf's or focus's (focii?).

Made me quite happy indeed!

I gave a lift to a chap today in my LE who was talking race cars and what he's owned in the past, he was saying he's owned super quick this and that and set them up to do track days etc etc, I listened with interest and then realised I needed to get past a horse box before the lane narrowed, a right pain if I hadn't of passed it at that point so I dropped it to 3rd and gave it a quick squirt, the chap went quiet until we'd passed the wagon and then said "Blimey I wasn't expecting that sort of acceleration from this, it must be highly tuned", to which I replied no not really, it's standard other then a FMIC and a remap.

Moments that make you smile smile

Careful, Joe - I'm not sure that a 'coupe vs horsebox' doesn't fall foul of one of the forum rules! laugh

My Coupé has never been much of a pack horse so it was nice to let it out the paddock smile
