Well having owned two 16vts for the past 9 years I said I would never buy another after all the hours under them and repairing them then I found a 20vt plus for sale 2 previous owners from new

sat on a guys front yard rotting away completely standard not be modified etc the engine is sweet and pretty solid so it's rust treatment time , cambelt time all new hoses time , all new shocks , drop links and body work.

I must be crazy

How did you find that? I'm always looking out for unwanted but interesting cars like yours but all I find round here are 206's. Boo.

I wonder why the chassis plate is missing? Hopefully not a "ringer"?

No I removed it so I can refurb shuttle panel

More updates on the new plus

Treating the back ends rust first
New bumpstops fitted

Brake calipers refurbished

Boot floor welded in usual place with steel chopped out 3 cotes of ech primer then under sealed .

Also new rear shocks fitted .

Rest of cars solid including behind pininfarina badges going to treat everwhere to be safe .

Well I'm slowly getting through everything 17 yrs old everything still original with original hose clips , coolant hose of death original , thermostat , and belts and pulleys all original .

A bit more done over past couple of days cars now running after cambelt change , every pulley and tensioner replaced , new chod and hose kit , new stat , rocker cover , new phase sensor ,repainted with wrinkle paint , lettering still left to do ,slowly but surely
