The beginning of my project LE1426 - 01/05/2018 06:47

Couldnīt post this in project page, if an admin could change it to project folder, I would apreciate it. Thanks

Iīve had my coupe for a month and a few days now, he is in desperate need of TLC. This is what I got him so far, some of the parts are already assembled, some are still going to be assembled. Any sugestions are always welcome (Styling canīt be to everyoneīs taste, so... it will only have to suit itīs owner...me tongue ) The spoilers are still in the paint shop and they are, "boot included" Cadamuro designs. Hereīs some pictures.

Looks like your settling in a long rolling project.

Your car will certainly look different after the rear spoilers are added!

And after all of the work your planning.

Oooo, I do like shiney parts, best of luck with your project Carlos. I always take my hat off to anybody who seriously works on these cars. I dabble, but anything major gets shipped out.

Not perhaps to everyone's taste, but go for it!

Are the new lights ec approved?

Re: The beginning of my project LE1426 - 05/05/2018 09:34

I know it's not for everybody's taste smile
No, they have no EU homologation... Not for MOT aproval, have to change them for stock ones when going for MOT.

Looking good Carlos, what springs and shocks are you planning on using?
Posted By: Carlos_Neto

Re: The beginning of my project LE1426 - 29/05/2018 17:17

For now, stock shocks and novitec rear springs. The rear springs are already fitted and the car is leveled, just as I wanted it. Don't know if I'm going to assemble the novitec front ones.

The roads are not fine lol, they seem the Somme after the battle in some points, but if it is custom made It wasnīt me, it already came this way, and didnīt even noticed it, until you pointed it out. smile

I'm rather amazed (and envious) of the fact that there is no sign of rust anywhere in this pic smile

Re: The beginning of my project LE1426 - 30/05/2018 18:47

Here in Portugal don't use salt on the roads, we don't have ice or snow problems, that is the main reason of having no rust (that and most of the parts beeing replaced lol).

Was about to comment the same-it stands out in the picture.

I hope its not a damaged blade.

Nice to see one getting some love.
Whats up with JBT?

Re: The beginning of my project LE1426 - 02/10/2018 21:57

Nop, just ink in one of the blades, probably a part of the calibration process.

Re: The beginning of my project LE1426 - 02/10/2018 22:00

Don't really know what is wrong with JBT. Just that he had to stay in the hospital, don't even know if he is still there or not.

I'm not one for body kits myself, but if you're going to have a rear wing, that one looks nicely finished. Good looking car! Well done.
