What to do? - 21/04/2019 15:14
My Coupe looks terrible now, with lacquer peel all over and now the sad crumpled passenger door and rear quarter. It's so embarrassing because I have a "built by Ferrari" sticker on the back which won't come off without taking more lacquer with it!
I just had the belts and water pump done by Gaz and engine wise she is running better than ever. The acceleration is amazing.
Here is my dilema. When the cheque comes from the insurance company, do I get her repaired or cut my losses and buy a sensible estate car for my doggies?
The Coupe had some expensive advisories on the last MOT, suspension arms I think. I could run her as is until the MOT runs out in October, then sell as a project. If she is a keeper I would have to think about a respray. I might have some money coming to me as compensation for a dog bite but I am not holding my breath because it has been almost a year now and the cow that owns the dog just keeps ignoring all the solicitor's letters and even a court order to disclose whether she has viable insurance,
So, what shall I do? Been looking at really boring Skodas and feeling so depressed about it all.
