Check condition of brake pipes and A/C pipes, much easier to replace with engine out

Maybe a change of the oil seals on the engine? Since it's easier to do it while it's out, obviously.

Engine in and running! New clutch, radiator, cams, belts, master cylinder, oil seals, hoses and clean up. A/C recharge. Now the alarm won't turn off so will have to disable it! Three steps forward and two back!

Alarm working, now lost feed to A/C....
Nearly £6k lighter (having just purchased and repairs) I'm trying to convince myself this was a good idea! Maybe when the last turbo has finally blown up they will go up in value. Perhaps the new Inspector Morse will drive one making them popular collector's cars. The Duchess of Cambridge spotted driving one in Tesco's (sorry Waitrose) car park?
