Hi there bayliss welcome. I wish you well in your quest for the ideal Coop. Coops, decent ones are scarce on the ground at realistic prices. In my humble opinion, you will find one that's reasonable & be prepared to spend some extra cash getting it up to your standards. Just my thoughts.
Around twelve years ago I purchased my Coop for four grand, in very good condition, a steal if you think about now. I did try to look after it as best as could, but no Coop specialists up here, some garages would not look at it, some didn't know what it was
Alas the dreaded tin worm made an appearance plus other bits & bobs needed attention, so it's away at the moment as we speak being attended to.
As any Coop owner will tell you, there will be highs & lows, but the highs more than make up for anything else....
