20v non turbo engine replacement question

does anyone know with what a more powerful alternative engine can be replaced the standard and regular Fiat Coupe 20v (non turbo) engine. some ideas?

A number of the guys on here have the 2.4 from the Marea? with a bit of tuning it will reach 200 horses, some of the way out guys have put a turbo on it and then the sky's the limit! The engine on mine cooked within 70miles of buying it, I didn't have much idea of the performance prior to replacing it, had I have done I'd have been tempted to go for some more power. However it's not just the engine you need to think about if going for a big increase, all the add ons will make it an expensive option,.

Don't forget insurance, any modded car will cost....
