Why the Fiat Coupe is cool

I had an admiring comment over the Christmas period. "cool ride man" he said. "Haven't seen one in years but always fancied one. Just use it on weekends?"

Nope it's my daily driver.

Now considering the Coupe was covered in mud up to the slashes and she needs a respray, those are compliments indeed.

Reminds me of a passage from one of (I think) Len Deighton's spy novels. The hero's arrival at some event is being described - I paraphrase slightly:

I know whereof you speak, I once fitted snow chains to my Abarth GP EsseEsse and then a following guy's car when we both couldn't make the final gradient up to Grangesises and Sestriere in near blizzard conditions. Talk about frozen!!! At least the heater was working once I could get back in the Abarth.
