16vt vacuum lines - 15/06/2020 08:57
So I've bought back my dad's old 16vt broomy and the vac pipes and surge pipes were all either broken or mixed up. I've now got replacements but down to the last pipe. It goes to the sensor on the bulk head and then goes to a T piece connection under intake manifold does anyone know should there be a T piece at all or where it goes? Thanks

That looks like the vacuum line for the map sensor. I'm not sure, but from what you describe the hose goes under the inlet manifold, inbetween cylinders 2-3 and on the manifold and is a bit of a pain to get access to. If you take the rocker cover off, this gives you slightly more visibility and maybe the ability to get the hose to connect

That's whereI thought it went! Just threw me off with the T piece connected. It's not fun trying to get at it. I'll try take off the rocker cover so,cheers👍

Yep; the T piece is not supposed to be there - perhaps it's had a pressure gauge on it?
It's important to make sure that pipe is neither split nor blocked.
