Black sills

Apart from the obvious speed advantage that a stripe bestows is there any other difference between those with black sills and those all the same colour? Are they confined to certain models/years? Am I right in thinking the one colour versions tend to be the 'posher' LE and Plus ones?

The body coloured sills were done as part of the final "face lift" to all coupes including the 20v NA, in late '99.

The basic 20vt also got the white dials, starter button, different wheels, 6 speed gearbox etc. The 20vt plus in addition to that stuff got the recaro seats, red brake calipers, red cam cover + the bodykit.

The bodykit on the plus or LE is a different thing from the painted sills and fits on top of the sills.
