Holding candlelight vigil... - 18/10/2021 20:02

The old 16v has a major ecu issue which the great and the good at MM are struggling to resolve and the last throw of the dice may not be too far away. Continual EML is an automatic MOT fail despite the car running well. I'm hoping for a glimmer of hope tomorrow but in the meantime need the power of the forum to bring a bit of luck to the Coupe.. frown

FCSS parts cars....

Electric blue Plus.... (Sorry Martin)
Wine red 20vt with grey interior, I also have blue in stock.
Wine red 16v n/a
Yellow 16v n/a

The cars above will be recycled over the next couple of weeks, if you'd like any parts please email me at:
f_c_s_s@hotmail.com
Or call during office hours: 01684 593187.

Much of the Plus is already sold or needed, no seats, 6sp box, wheels and most of the panels.
Both 16v's and the 20vt are complete.

This was posted on f/b earlier and may help if you need parts

It is for sure, I've saved a few 16v n/a's over the years but these have been stored for 10+yrs with buried valves so it's time to recycle these two for spares and increase my parking spaces for my new toys.

Cheers peeps. So sadly it needs to be scrapped cry

Nah - only kidding tongue MM have been in contact with Gus at Alfatune who should be able to sort by cloning to another 2nd hand unit. It's all about the immobiliser etc but they need to have the car physically to work their magic and ironically they are a few miles north of me in St Helens rolleyes. MM are doing a road test soon and if they think it's fine to drive away then I'll take it to Gus.

Joe - PM on it's way.

Fingers crossed there's light at the end of the tunnel thumb
