Hi Mooney,

I bought a modified car that used to be forum owned then passed through another owner with the following mods:-

From the original advert:-

"Engine - Garrett GT28rs ball bearing turbo, Pro alloy FMIC, Blueflame turbo back stainless exhaust system and manifold, alloy straight inlet pipe (SIP) and cone filter, Bosch 440cc fuel injectors, Forge dump valve, Silicone induction and coolant pipes, Helix organic clutch (not paddle), Stage 3 re-map with Gizmo electronic boost controller, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Result of these upgrades is a smooth and very useable 331bhp with 295lbft of torque – must only be run on 99 Octane fuel, I use Shell V-power."

Handling - BC racing coilovers and top mounts lowered to a useable height, hunter 4 wheel alignment set for fast road, Toyo proxy R888r tyres , Whiteline front and rear anti roll bars, 16mm hub spacers, Weight saving - MTec drilled and grooved discs.

The one issue i had was the Chip had become corrupt resulting in some 'interesting ' random cutting out at various speeds which was diagnosed thanks to this forums invaluable help, Flea supplied a new chip from his back catalog of maps and all was good again! smile

I feel like it's making close to what it was mapped at, but a rolling road would prove interesting smile

Regards

Austin

oh sweet man, sounds the bollaxe and about the same as my coupe mods wise with no serious heavy mods. yeh only need so much power through the front wheels. and i personally think a dyno session is alot of money for what it is. and the standard 220bhp isnt really enough. certainly a cheap way into fast cars. or atleast it was back then.

mines running 338.5 bhp and 303 tq.
feels so good. thay isnt really quick in a modern car thats heavier and non modified but in coupes its savage power.
