Viewed a Coop

Finally got my 1st up close viewing and test ride ina Coupe and I was deffinatly not dissapointed. The car was stunning looking, flame red with (i think LE body kit) and when he took us out for a ride it was just amazing. Really really want a coupe now!! So getting an RAC check done on Wednesday, although if i had of had the money with me I think I would have bought it on Saturday lol. Hopefully if the RAC check is all good Will have it bought Very excited I finally see what all the fuss is about

Can he not get it to Powerfiat for a health check? RAC wont be great, I hear they just say everything is wrong to cover themselves further down the line etc.

The RAC did a check on mine, it was pretty good although nowhere near as good as a specialist.

Should still flag up any big issues or crash damage, that's the main thing.

I didn't think about getting Power Fiat to do it. The car is in Basildon aswell right by there. Ohwell already paid the RAC thing and its happening on Wednesday. My mum had an RAC check on her car before she bought it and said it was very useful so nevermind

if its jacks car, the red P reg with the zender kit then id consider trying to get your money back from the RAC and just buy it.

its a very nice car, and as mentioned above RAC checks are rubbish. they list small problems as something severe, to cover their own arse.

They said a battery positive terminal cover missing was a serious hazard on one coupe i got.

Yeah thats the one mate, It really did look very nice and I wanted to buy it straight up, but my dad being a pain in the arse and saying I need to do it. And as he is loaning me the Money to buy the car for now I spose I have to just let him have the piece of mind that I'm not wasting my money as I made that mistake when I bought my Impreza and it ended up costing me extreme amounts of money!

And that money for the rac check would be much better spent on its next oil change or service. Take Roger's word for it (or get your dad to register on here and ask our advice !!) all hail to powerfiat..

I have no doubt that the car is good and I was happy to buy it, but it will shut him up basically lol and keep him happy, regardless of what anyone will say, he is stubborn like that. Yeah have budgeted for a full service and cambelt change.

Where abouts in Watford are you? I have seen a lovely Yellow one on my way home from work the other day, and saw it on the way to work heading away and towards Elstree.

He knows he is a pain in the arse anyway, I make sure he does lol

Well I must admit if Rog says it's a good car I'd be saving the money I was paying to the RAC and I'd be down there right now handing over the cash!

Well finally got the all clear from the RAC, which I really was expecting anyway. The tech guy said he even went down to Power Fiat and spoke to Roger aswell lol. 229 Quid wasted I spose, but atleast the parentals are happy now! Called up the guy and agreed a price, going to collect on Sunday evening after World Touring Cars at Brands Hatch! Very excited!!

It might have been more sensible to get the inspection done after it's been through the race
