Service Record Books - 07/02/2008 01:58
Anyone come up with an alternative solution when their service record book is full?
Two Fiat garages in my area havent got them and want £15 + £10p&p to get them!!!
Is it worth searching the country?
Can you actually order things from the EPER as I'm sure they're only about £3 on there!

Eper is just the Fiat parts listing system, you still have to order from a dealer or specialist.
Prices on Eper are what they were when that particular version was current.

I got another Fiat one that was lying about from Howard at All Italia's for nothing, fair play to him. Not a period service book, but that doesn't bother me. Try a breakers?

Why not just keep the service receipts and save your money?

Exactly the receipts are more important than stamps in a book.

I just asked at the local dealers and they gave me a new service book FOC
I think they may have though I was going to book it in for a service there, but there's more chance of a bank leaving its front doors unlocked -
oh, hang on.....

Of course I'll keep the receipts but I was hoping to continue onto another book after hearing people get them for free and thinking they weren't that expensive to buy.
There's no way I'm paying £15 for one so if I can't get one MotorMech print-outs should do the job nicely I guess.
