Depends how heavy the truck in front is.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y88/mellonfish/stoppingdistances.jpg indicates the highway code suggestions: at 60mph, 73 metres including reflex - that's with a braking efficiency of 70%, in the dry; a deceleration of 0.7g. The MOT brake test requires only 50% so if you've just passed it, you will take longer. If your brakes are in good condition and your car is light, you'll probably improve it.

Just wondering whether FIAT ever actually released the book stopping distance. Mine stop very well with the pads and disks on it. No complaints at all. ust idle curiosity really \:\)

Autocar November 1996: Stopping distances for 20vT (in dry)

30mph: 9.6 metres
50mph: 25.9 metres
70mph: 49.2 metres
100mph: 97.9 metres

60mph: 2.9 seconds

It stops effectively, but pedal doesn't provide the feel or confidence we'd hope for in a car with such performance.

Sorry no data for 60mph \:D
