Just behind the light cluster that sharp bit of metal managed to rip the skin off my hand! Was christmas bloomin day too when it happened so it's started to heal, keeping it in salt water to keep it clean and help it heal

Was the bonnet 'hot'?

owwww. I'm no doctor but that firey red surround and yellowish centre gives me the impression there's a bit of infection going on there too! Looks like quite a gash so to speak should leave a nice little scar

That looks sore, I'd do as proccy says, keep the salt and the tcp flowing, then spray automotive lacquer over it.
