I saw an N reg green 20VT parked at Team Valley retail park, which I've seen there before, parked in the exact same spot - so somebody who works there, I guess.

Also, as I was arriving a sprint blue P reg 20VT was leaving.

Probably the stock S reg NA that I follow up West Auckland Road to work quite a lot. Miserable b**ger won't acknowledge me though even when he's had to virtually drive round me getting into my car sometimes and I'm looking straight at him. Then again he's probably thinking "don't think I'll be your best friend just because we drive the same car you sad b***ard!"

Well would keep both so I could start collecting all of them in existence but finances and lack of 2 car garage prevents me from doing this!
Bar buyers final partner approval and money changing hands it's been sold today as well.
Only the second car I've been really genuinely sad to let go (funnily enough the first I was sad to let go was also a Fiat (998cc Uno!)).

I saw a yellow Coop heading down Station Rd. in Prudhoe at 8:30 this morning.

I think it's the one I've seen before around Prudhoe (although not for a while), but I wasn't close enough to be sure.

I've seen a yellow coup at Glendinnings garage just off the A695 in Prudhoe a few times, so I'm guessing it's that one.

According to Autotrader it's an 'S' reg 20V NA at Blaydon Car Co. (which is where we got my wife's car from, as it happens). It's marked up at £3,799, which is a tad on the high side, I feel.

After seeing the 5 that I know about in Darlo (Scots Green S reg NA, Scots Green R reg NA (my old one), Broom Yellow ? often coming in as I go out to work who has flashed, Silver ? N reg with Huge rear spoiler who has flashed and beautiful W Electric Blue plus just like pag's(who I've been to see as I know where he works but won't sell!)) several times (none of whom come on here that I know of apart from the electric blue owner) I finally saw a different one.

Red (not sure what as dark) S***DKO turning right to go South on A1 from A68 roundabout about 8pm tonight.
I was the grey one going straight over (and past ).

Not sure... I'm pretty sure it was Sprint Blue though, may not have been a 16vt.. although some idiot in a modified saxo had just splashed me with a puddle before hand so was a bit off lol.

Also a red coupe parked in the main matro centre car park (near megabowl etc.). No idea what model as I was on a bus. (this was 14/04/06).

i met him at the pity me roundabout and was teasing him along the first part of the carriageway, the cars infront of him pulled over and he toed it infront of me, dont think he was trying hard by the way i pulled back beside him on the second roundabout. the boxter s figures look quite inpressive.

them astra turbo's are quite nice cars what did you think of it?

Ventured slightly south today & saw 2 this morning.

First a green P reg coupe at the Thinford roundabout about 9:30.

Then saw a nice looking R reg sprint blue 20vt in the Electrolux car park in Spennymoor at 10am. Had colour coded sills and Italian flag badge on the boot.

R reg Sprint Blue 20VT Sat afternoon in Duke Street Darlo, would have waved but would have felt like a bit of of clip waving madly at someone who doesn't know me as I was on foot in a crowd of shoppers. Someone had been out with the polish though Looked standard apart from some big rims.

Was driving home through Tudhoe tonight, when I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing a young boy being knocked down by the car in front of me.
Nothing the driver in front could have done, as the lad just ran straight out in front of her.

Luckily although he had a few nasty cuts and bruises, he seemed to have escaped any serious injury.

Anyway, the police arrived and I was asked to give a statement.
So the policeman asks if that was my Fiat Coupe and then as he's taking my details he asks if it's the 20v turbo - I was impressed that he knew something about the cars.

At the end of the statement he tells me that he has a Porto 20vt himself, with full Zender kit. Although it's off the road at the moment as he's ran a main bearing on it. Apparently he also used to come on the forum fairly regularly a few years ago.

Anyway, still can't get the picture out of my mind of the lad flying through the air after being knocked over.
I got home and gave my little boy a long talk about road safety and a very big hug.

Black 16v parked on Baker street in Middlesbrough centre today at around 12:45PM.

At first I thought it was an LE with the silver rear light pods. Got closer and saw it had Zender side skirts. The wheels looked darker than standard too.

After a few moments of admiring the car I noticed a rather nice woman attempting to park her rather large estate in the gap behind the coupe.

After a moment of deliberating whether I should help her park because she was fit, or whether I should do it to avoid damage to the nice coupe, I guided her in and she was most appreciative

I spotted a Rosso Red 20VT early Friday evening driving past Darlo Civic Theatre into town. Don't know if it was you Panic? Didn't have time to check out the reg and driver as I was running. Also, only two weeks till I get mine so soon to be another in Darlo!

Red coming out of Darlo on A68 near VW garage 30 mins ago. Had Zender rear spoiler but didn't see any other details except K reg 2 digit plate. I flashed but maybe noticed too late.

As an aside I have no idea how people manage to spot with full model details whilst driving. Is it just me as I find catching anything other than colour quite hard. Am I watching the road too much or just driving too fast

Went out for little jaunt and saw (possibly) 2 tonight.

Most probably Porto at 6.45 passing train station in Aycliffe.

Silver (or possibly same Porto) leaving Darlo on A68 at 8.45. It was getting dark hence unsure on colours.

Guy at work has just bough a Porto 20VT. Its lowered with 18'' 7-spokes and a Cada kit, so quite distinctive. The bugger bought it last Saturday, 3 days before I picked up mine.

Mine is a nicer colour though.

I had a short blast with a Murple today around 3PM on Bridge Road in Stockton (since the Aston behind didn't wanna play ).

Looked very sweet; Zender kit and looked like 18" multi spoke wheel. Very nice! Gave the thumbs up and got them in return.

A busy day today, with 3 coops sighted.

#1 was on the road from the Blue House roundabout down to Longbenton just after 9 this morning. It was an R plate silver 20v NA turning right towards Jesmond Dene house

#2 was seconds later as I saw the usual red P reg one parked in the car-park of the Millstone pub just before the double roundabout in Gosforth/Longbenton

#3 was on the same bit of road heading in the opposite direction just after 1pm. A P plate blue 20VT that I followed for a little while (on the bike)

Anybody care to own up to being any of the above?

There are two porto's driving around the area with 18''s. One has a full Cada kit, Raggazoni 'zorst and 7-spoke alloys which is owned by one of the lads who works here. I don't like it tbh.

The other has sideskirts of some kind, 10-spoke alloys, VHT (iirc) on its reg and looks lush. This one gets seen all the time.

Yeah, thats what I thought. He overtook me on the wrong side of the road doing about 50mph (30mph zone) and was driving like an idiot TBH - glad it wasn't you. ;\)

It was a Sprinty, but it looked to have 16VT alloys hence my confusion.

I saw 2 in one day yesterday. A red 20v NA heading towards Newcastle on Scotswood Road about 9 and a different red one with a private plate heading towards the central motorway along Grandstand road around 9:30.

Spotted two Coupe's on the way to and from the Metro Centre today.

First on was an Ink black 6 speed on a W going south on the A19 between Peterlee and Hartlepool at around 1230, I thought someone had stolen my car for a second lol.

Second was a dark blue Plus, again on a W parked at a carpark just off the Team valley highway at around 1530. Looked sweet, I havent seen a Plus in the flesh before.

Is it Panic who has one this colour? Maybe you?

It was a Moon Grey Plus actually - not that you could tell as it's so dirty at the mo. A66 is a regular run for me and on Friday it was good to be accompanied by another coop. We should have ganged up on the black Range Rover hogging the outside lane then randomly braking though. Nice lights by the way, I could use some myself (although wiping off the thick salt coating might help too).

By the way - how does it go with the GTEC? I have always wondered but never been tempted. Yet...

Ah, sorry! Was really tired, after a week at work and having to drive all the way to Cumbria, 190 miles... Must admit the HIDs are an absolute godsend, and worth their weight in gold.

GTEC is good but with a badly slipping clutch (only when putting the torque down, mind) and an EBV that doesn't have the slightest idea what's going on (i.e. need a boost controller...), it's hard to tell. Hoping to get the clutch sorted next month, and then down to Flea's for a boost controller fitting and a live map, stage 1 or 2, depending on what I get bought by then...

Is yours lowered at all, it looked good on the road, I tend to feel mine looks like a Range Rover compared to otgher Coop and it's giving me a complex.

Definitely good to see another Coop though, you're the first I've seen who acknowledged me!

Until next time I drive the A66...

Mmm. Sorry to hear about the clutch. I am trying to keep mine hanging on till next cambelt time then do the lot together. I will be investigating the lights though, as the standard ones are a bit too dim for my liking.

Mine is bog standard and not lowered - but I carry loads of heavy tools back and forth so that might account for the low and racy look (cheaper than a lowering kit too!)

He's using it while his 'reliable' Audi is broken haha. He works in Faverdale Ind Estate in Darlo and lives near byerley park school in Aycliffe so thats his route to work.

Yes he's still using it. The Audi is beyond eco repair so I said he can use it to go to work if he pays for tax, new clutch and cambelt change lol.

I got a Punto Sporting keyed up parked outside Safeway (as it was) a good few years ago, so it's a nada parking place for me.

To answer your question - no, I'm not an owner. I've just about given up looking as everything that has been labeled as "mint" has been decidedly below average, at best. Added to that the mileages are almost galactic and even the youngest models are long in the tooth now.

However, if one were to come up for sale.............

FYI the diesel Saab estate in the left hand lane in front of you wasn't driving really slowly because the driver was some old bloke it was because the driver was trying to get you to go past so he could look at your car. blush

Saw a couple in Darlo this weekend;

1, Friday evening, about 19:30. A Scotts Green 20vt at the roundabout where the ringroad joins the A66 to Middlesbrough etc. You were turning right, onto the A66, whereas I was heading from the A66 towards Great Burdon.

2, Yesterday afternoon, about 14:00. A Sprint Blue 20vt at the Morton park roundabout on the ringroad. We had an exchange of thumbs-up, much to the embarrassment/annoyance of my girlfriend!! laugh

Nice sprint blue. I'm based between boro and gayeshead and Glasgow and drive daily my Porto blue R reg 20vt, only third owner ( got from best mate!) and cherished; standard chip for winter with shiny wheels and winter tyres...then a nice wee Gtech1 chip and matt grey wheels for summer....just love the car and the design and the drive!!

Ahh is see! There used to be a na 20v burgundy one in dormanstown by he sold it not so long back.
I live in coulby newham but the Mrs lives in Marske so I'm often down Redcar way!

My sprint blue had the same lacquer peeling on the roof, knocked it all back and rattle canned the full roof in matched paint then applied some fresh coats of lacquer, looks like new smile

I'll keep my eye out for you round redcar, my coupe sorn'd for winter but is in for MOT next week so will be back out wether permitting!

Seen that green one a few weeks ago parked at Tesco's in Coulby Newham.. Bodywork was in a state that only a lady owner could achieve!

It's an n/a 20v, I must of looked like a potential car thief looking round it however the interior is in good condition, Got a quick snap of it anyway..

Ooh now I saw a Porto 20vt parked near linthorpe road in Middlesbrough a while back on pavement outside infant Hercules tea rooms on pavement…and there was also one for sale at the Jap Importers in ‘boro too…I’ll keep my eyes peeled as drive that way a lot!!!&#129300;&#128077;

Portfolio blue S reg 20v in Northallerton this afternoon.

Obviously with the current weather and country roads, it needs a wash. But, otherwise, lovely looking car.

I won't say that you were parked between Iceland and Lidl. I'll say that you were handy for both the theatre and Barkers department store.
