KP Brigg is a small market town about 8 miles from Scunthorpe on the A1084, just off the M180. Was going to try and catch up but there were too many cars in the way as I entered the 30 zone.

Yellow P832*** with the *BIGGEST* spolier I've ever seen, just a big slab of something at a 45 degree angle driving past Tesco in Gainsborough.

Didn't wave because I was in the MX-5 and was worried you'd just think I was a gurning freak outraged by the size of your spolier (which in truth I was)

I applaud your spirit of Northern Comradery but at 45mph on that road I wont be sticking with anything. While it doesn't test your handling it is a good road for an all out blast.......to the legal speed limit and back of course!

I have finally met the Yellow Coopster with the eeeeenormous wing. Gainsborough Tescos car park last night at 11pm. Nice chap but didn't catch his name unfortunately. Was broken down on the hard shoulder of the A1/M near j.49 weatherby back in feb, and a black coupe 20vt spotted me from the otherside of the motorway, 5 mins later he was on my side and stopped to help me, if your on here, im just writing to say thanks. \:\)

Two spots yesterday, doesn't feel as special now.....

1) 3pm ish, Broom yellow coop, driving near Yarborough Road in Lincoln. I was in my Black coop.

2) Porto blue with aftermarket 5 spokes (needs lowering btw) parked near my house on the Bailgate, 9pm ish. I was in my spaceship as I had been to the pub.

2 spots today. Yellow coop heading south on the A17 between Holdingham Roundabout and Bicker Bar Roundabout. Flashed, and got a wave back \:D

Second one was a green coop in lincoln. Sat at traffic lights you were in the other lane further back. Lady driver i think with a box in the passenger seat \:s

Seen a couple in Lincoln - one ink black and one red which my girglfriend keeps spotting, she's in a white Rover 200 5 door with a couple of little stars on the front corner of her bonnet if you spot her! I also saw this morning a sprint blue on the A46 passing flintham towards Lincoln at about 9-ish i think.

My girfriend spots a red one all the time on Burton road in Lincoln, plate R889 something or other and spotted a purple one on the A46 towards newark sat in traffic a while back, P*** GGM.

How many coupe's are there in the grimsby, Louth, Scunthorpe area? I saw a sprint blue T reg on the A180 passing the Shell garage a couple of weeks ago, I thought I was the only one of two in the Grimsby area.

I flashed and got a wave. I was in a Scotts Green 20v with Le skirts Zender front 17" stilo blades lowered and a whole lot of bird poo and tree sap on the paint.

Showcase Cinema car park, Peterborough. Was in the car chatting to a certain someone and because it was raining the windows had become slightly steamed up. Heard a nice car pull up and park next to me but thought nothing of it. 10 Minutes later i reversed out of the space after all the traffic had gone and i noticed the shiny fuel cap. Realized it was a sprinty blue coupe.
You on the forum? This was Saturday night by the way.

I hardly see coops round this end there pretty rare! used to see a yellow 20vt but that got sold, i see a N reg red 20v n/a from holbeach around! you got the burgandy 20vt in boston that always seems to be sat on the blokes drive and never moves! then you got mine which is always in the garage!!

By the way mines noticable as all windows are limo black and the wheels are black! Red 20v n/a.

I saw one in P'boro going into BP petrol station drove past and beeped but the guy just glared at me!

Then coming back i went past him on the roundabout and he total ignored me!

Change of finances means ill be keeping the Coupe and re-insuring it on my 21st (17th May) and taking it down to Rog to get a list of things done. Car will be like new when its finished smile

I have only had trouble with the police once when i was in west mids around this area it is all ok!! she needs abit of work where people have smashed there car doors into it and my misses lets the door swing open and smack the post outside our house! other than that its all good flied throught the mot!

Ah i was, but only for a week, sold it to my friends brother in law.
So glad to have her back on the road. Iv booked the car in for a cambelt and full service with Rog in a week so i thought its best i use the coupe in the mean time instead of leaving it standing.

i'm glad mine was done by solo italia when i bought it, actually it had belts, manifold and radiator and a few other bits done i think so fingers crossed trouble free motoring for a while.

Having just realised there is a Lincolnshire thread (and now realising where Boston and Skegness are...) I thought i'd copy this into here...

Two spotted on my way back from Skegness; Yellow one in Boston, gave me a wave but due to fatigue and getting jovial earache from the missus about waving i only managed a nod...

Then a black one about half an hour later, no idea where (knackered by this point, would have been about 7pm though). No nod flash or wave from this one though...

For the record though; take the right route back from Skegness and theres some marvellous driving roads on the way home (A17 i think)

Im in middle of doing a house up as soon to be moving into it but.... if I can assist in any way then just ask.

Ps did you know Roger Windleys have 2x coupe's one is missing the head as someone seems to have bought as the whole engine WAS in there but bottom end still in situ.

Your knowledge of cars isn't too bad really dave, it's just the coupe is something else laugh

I'm with bridges on sourcing a new engine at the mo, as long as its tried and tested.

Be better once you have had the sump off and assessed the damage though. Be nice to see her running again smile

Dave, my brothers fiat is running again after sorting out his bent valves so don't give up.

P.S I saw a black coupe in Boston at about 8:20pm tonight with aftermarket wheels and front bumper

Have just been speaking with a friend who practically lives down at RogerWindleys salvage yard. He suspects the coupe could be high mileage, have just looked on their website and spares listings and its done nearly 150k miles so is slightly higher risk regarding condition.

If ALL options are closed then I have a 86k miles FSH P reg 20vt sat on axle stands garaged in woodhall spa as ive been ummmming and arrrring for a year deciding whether to break as has a knackered clutch and possible turbo wear. as well as rear trailing arm bearings required and needing a clean up. always planned to put back on road and was keeping incase my 20vt started to require parts but is always an option.

Spotted a Yellow Coupe crossing the A15 as i was Driving towards Sleaford from Lincoln at about half past 4 ish?

I was just a bit further back in the line of cars as you pulled out onto the Road and then turned off left.

Well i am in grimsby and can tell T460BFJ that i am one of the owners of the steel grey 20vt (mine is the one with the LE kit) and the other 20vt steel grey is a good mate of mine. Have seen a red 20v and porto blue? one in grimsby too, but cant tell you what model it as only caught a glimps of it.

Just spotted 2 Coupes on my trip into Boston this afternoon smile

12:30pm: Porto, lowered with aftermarket alloys looking very nice driving across the level crossing towards Currys. Didn't see you straight away but the driver seemed to grin and look across. laugh

1:30pm: Second one as i was walking through Matalan carpark to my Coupe, on john adams way, Yellow 20v n/a, possibly Odette? tongue

There is currently a Porto Coupe with 18" Azev's(i think?) sat outside the petrol station in my village (Donington, Lincolnshire)

It's been there a few hours, possibly in for a repair or MOT?

Sprinty 20vt R reg turning out of a residential road onto the A15 heading out of lincoln, about 3 miles out of Lincoln.

As i've broke my foot i wasn't in my coupe frown

P reg Porto/blue in Horncastle on the front at the Shell garage, notice with a FMIC Zender skirts lowered and 17" alloys. Was filling up the Alfa 156 with derv but did not see the you about? Later as I was washing off the Alfa you came out of tennyson Gardens and went up the Boston road, sounded amazing with aftermarket exhaust and dumpvalve and has made me want to tax my own coupe.

Spotted a Red 20vt (LE(i think)) Coopster today in Lincoln on the A1434 Newark Road.

Reg ended in HHP or something similar.

I was sat in traffic heading towards Birchwood as you were in the 2nd lane going through traffic lights the opposite way.

Not sure if you saw me.

I was out for a few drinks last night in Grantham. Just getting some cash out opposite the Goose Pub and i see a shiny Sprint Blue 20vt driving (making a nice noise) through the town centre. Having had a few drinks, i panicked thinking it was mine laugh

Yes the F1 car was so loud especially because of being in the valley.
