The Beetle is most likely not going to be exhibited now as it's currently part of a messy custody battle....

Looks like I'll need to give up the Beetle if I want my cat, horse and decks, which I do!

Spotted, scotts green Coupe on A55 Colwyn Bay last night - I was broken down in the hard shoulder at the time, and not even so much as a wave from my fellow Coupe owner

But, after a good coat of looking at, my little darling started again, only to die a slow death again 4 miles later............. Couldn't spot anything obvious, and she eventually started again, and seems OK this morning. Managed the 30 miles to work with no problems......... hopefully just [Email]cr@p[/Email] in the fuel pipe, due to letting it get very very low, then filling up with £50 of Optimax....... Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully......

Saw two today, of all days, when I'm in a Mondeo courtesy car.

Saw an S reg Sprint Blue one on the Wrexham bypass(A483) heading towards Chirk/Oswestry around 4.30 pm ish.

Then saw a W reg dark blue one on the Chester Road, heading towards Acton in Wrexham about 5pm ish

I haven't seen any around for a while and then the day after I crash mine, I see two

They both looked lovely though and are my top two favourite colours

Took my Coupe to Cineworld in Llandudno Junction last Thursday (3rd August) - driving back to Anglesey about half ten that night, spotted a dark blue Coupe parked in a lay by near to the Penmaenbach tunnel. Was that you??!!

Sorry if you had broken down & I didn't stop [going too fast! ; )], as my passenger was convinced that was the case being that it was a Fiat! I had to explain to her the difference between the Pininfarina crafted car & the other 'run-of-the-mill' models, but she started to fall asleep. She'll come round to being a believer eventually! She has actually spotted a yellow Coupe down in Pen Llyn (Pwllheli) - not sure if it was local or a tourist. She also concedes that the 20v Turbo is 'very fast'. Hello!? I know - that's why I bought it!!

Pinin - I have seen photos that Cowboy & Dave have posted elsewhere, and it probably was their cars that I saw. I haven't seen CD's Coupe outside Bennetts for a while, as it used to be parked by the front door. There appears to be a modded (new) Beetle in red parked there now - but there used to be a modded blue Beetle there before, so perhaps Dave has not left the fold!

I'll have to look this week on my way to Tescos.....

It's still there just been cycling a lot to work, pop in and say hello!!
Went through the crazy stage of maybe giving up the coupe but after councelling and various medication I came to my senses!!

That explains why I haven't seen it when I've been passing recently. The Beetle looks pretty modded (as was the old one) - is it a turbo?

I actually bought a TV & VCD/DVD-R combo from Bennetts this year, so I think I might know you already. I'm also friends with Dave Fox from Pesda, who used to work there (if you know him).

You've probably seen me around a bit as I work in Bangor (Ffriddoedd Road), and go down from there to Coed Mawr as I go towards Tesco/Halfords (where I've seen your motor), and past Dave's Porto Turbo in Benetts (spotted last Thursday - too wet to cycle Dave?!)! If I see you driving in future, I'll wave!

As for not being modded, I've decided (for the moment) to leave the body as Chris Bangle intended - but mine has a few cheeky bits installed under the bodywork so to speak - with more planned....

I was passing in the opposite direction in a Land Rover Discovery on my way home from the V Festival, and spotted a dark blue T-plated Turbo at about 11 A.M. on Monday 21st parked up by the side of the A483 Wrexham By-Pass with a puncture! The driver was taking off the nearside rear wheel & had the space saver out - hope you got it changed and back on your journey OK! Were you the one I saw parked in the lay-by near the Llanfairfechan tunnel a few weeks before?!?

Wow, what a busy Coop spotting week...

Sunday around 3pm as I was returning from the Mon Marathon I saw a nice Green one heading towards Llandudno on A55 around Colwyn Bay.

(not sure if it was Monday or)Tuesday and Thursday around 5pm I saw the legend that is the Enforcer patrolling... at least I think it was him, on Tuesday was nearer St Asaph so I don't know if that was a little out of his usual jurisdiction...

Leaving work on Wednesday evening and a green one was behind me all the was from Dolgarrog to Tyn Y Groes, I flashed hazards to say hello, but he seemed pretty oblivious to the bright yellow clone ahead of him.... ignorant fcukker...

Also, I popped into Llanrwst yesterday lunchtime to bank a cheque and spotted a nice shiny 20vt Sprint Blue in the Somerfield car park

This am spotted a luuverly kitted silver one that I followed from Sainsburys roundabout in Rhyl until I turned off at the Bodelwyddan hospital turning. Got a lovely wave and smile, and what a joyous sight to set me up for the day

Absolutely - I was very impressed with their service & the standard of work. Howard sure knows his Italian cars - although (like me) he has has an old Porsche hanging around too!

They did everything I asked them to do, and didn't shirk from the nasty jobs - unlike a lot of non-specialists! A mighty bill though - nearly £1600 - so that's it for a while I hope! Anyways, I thoroughly recommend them to all N Wales forum people!

Oh, and the chip that Graham sells is un-be-lievable!!!

Nice to see Dave's murple Coupe back at Bennett's too! Nice plate as well D! How was the meeting last week (if anyone reading went)?

My plate has been on three previous cars prior to the Coupe, and I have another on retention that's been on two Porsches!!

Coupedave was that on thursday as I was on my way to hollyhead
and past a porto coupe? Did wave but did'nt notice if you saw me!

I have to admit, the cold weather has meant one filthy Coop... She has been neglected... Thing is, I normally wash her after work but it's dark and freezin.... Ok, she was filthy at times in the summer too

But I drive down a dirt track to my horse every day, it's not pretty, and I love my fingernails long and clean

last weekend though, she got a loving shampoo and condition and I can now apply my make up with precision in her gleam

My new house has much more convenient watering facilities, so I'll keep her clean. I now live in fear of the wrath of The Clean Police

Saw you first on the M56 heading towards Chester, but didn't see you after I'd overtaken you.

I got caught behind some lorries, so caught a glimpse of you again on the A483, going past me, just as I pulled off on the next turn off from Wrexham.

seen two coops tonight, one red 16VT, parked next to it in the llanduddno junction carpark outside pizza hut, was still there when i came out of pizza hut so the driver must have been seeing a flick in the movie.

also a friend spotted a silver coupe "just like mine" in the junction tesco carpark about an hour later.

oddly i went to tessco last wednesday and as i parked up i looked to my right and i'd accidentaly parked right next to the burgendy 20VT which looked very nice.

i really need to pay attension to number plates to help identify them XD

FYI I've seen a white Ovlov, a dark blue Citroen C4 and a Black Honda Civic along that stretch: they either sneaky hide on the (ridiculously long for a 50 limit) slip roads with the gun or follow. Must be the main funding stream for the NW Police Christmas Do's $\:D$ $\:D$ $\:D$

A green coupe also spotted in Llandudno last night - S***DDk (it was dark, so I can't be 100% sure of colour/plate!) - about half seven, by the roundabout leading to Asda. I was in the missus' Puma & had to explain to her why I had got so excited about seeing another coupe!

The 16th was the day my mum died, so I guess I wasn't really very clear-headed. But still, I don't patrol the Colwyn Bay end so much these days, as my wife drives herself to work. Might have been someone else??

Not sure if I've seen the red 16v turbo - what plate is it on? Forget that, how does he insure it at that age!! $\:o$

And I spoke to soon, pulled up at the roundabout at the bottom of Ffriddoedd Road in Bangor (by Morrisons nee Safeway) and the silver coupe drove by. You're right - he doesn't wave ....

Tesco Bangor had Coupes in tonight again - the P plated early 20v red one & not far from it the murple 20v turbo was parked with a nice private plate (NJC***). Mine wasn't included as I was in the new Fiesta due to water pump "issues" with mine!

My colleague also saw one of the red one's in Holyhead on Sunday, as well as a 'plum' coloured one! $\:D$

Busy weekend for spots...

On my way home on Friday afternoon around 4ish saw an inky black one turning into Tesco's at Llandudno Junction. It probably didn't see me as I was 5 or so cars behind it.

Then Saturday on the Abergele Straights by Rhuddlan roundabout saw another Broom, got a flash

Then saw a Sprinter in Colwyn bay when I got to my destination...

Then, Sunday, (second hand spot) I had a text off my mate saying she'd seen a convoy of Coupé's coming into Rhyl over the blue bridge: Green with spoiler, a sprinter and a porto. Cowboy et al from the West siiiiiiiiiiide?! $\:D$
She told me to stay indoors as their's were sooooooooo shiny I'd be put to deepest darkest shame....

It's a fair cop MM!! I was on the way back to the wild West from All Italia following yet more open wallet surgery (timing belt change) - I'll be honest I was a bit lost meself as I don't know that part of the North that well - still it was a nice drive & I knew that if I headed for St Asaph I would pick up the A55 Westbound eventually! You were both looking very good btw - yellow really suits you! $\:D$ Immaculately clean as well!

It was near the turn off to the A55 - I had been on the A541 since Wrexham & was desperate to get home!! I was working in Mold that day & it just so happened to tie in with the coupe being fixed at Paxton's. The shades made you look like the European girl around town rather than intimiadating!!

Must say - light or no light - your coupe looks good in yellow - I've never been a big fan of that particular colour, but I thought yours looks very smart & suits you well, and my opinion has been revised! $\:\)$

Plenty of red one's around our way & those fccukers never flash either! (me being the exception!) $\:D$

Meril the Coop is actually my 3rd yellow motor: 1st was an ancient (tax exempt!) 70cc Honda Chali scooter that pulled the best wheelies in the world

$\:#$ then I had a Fiesta in the canary hue, before my 3rd and definitely the most stylish of yellow vehicles, Little Miss Meril Yellow Coupé!

Wednesday evening about 8.30ish I saw a green one, coming off the A55 at the Rhos end of Colwyn bay, private Reg K99 ### or similar. He wasn't particularly playful $\:\($

It's pink already mate! Didn't you know that all red Coupes are pearlescent - they turn pink after 10 years! $\:D$

Talkng of red coupes - that 20 valver is still for sale in JLS at a too much £3995 (IMHO) $\:o$ , BUT someone may have sold one of the Holyhead coupes, as there's a red 20 valver for sale in a Holyhead garage for a bargain £1800!

Some local fccukers will hopefully buy 'em! $\:P$

Picking mine up in about half an hour with the LE skirts & Modena front bumper all fitted - just waiting for the Blue Flame exhaust now (due April 11th). Which red one is that in upper Bangor - the one near the Uni halls off Ffriddoedd Road? $\:\?$ I hope you weren't referring to mine!? $\:o$

I think they will have to use DNA strain technology on yours at the end of the project to discover any trace of original Coupe content! The one I saw today looks standard apart from the big wheels - no spoiler. The only green kitted one I know of in North Wales is your good self's $\:\)$ - unless you've sold it!

Energy Green is a rarer colour than Scotts Green. It's got a sort of purple colour in the green - quite nice $\:\)$

Funny you should mention coupes in Tesco.I`ve seen a green one parked in the Bangor Tesco with an almost identical number plate to mine. This one had a Ferarri prancing horse badge on the boot.I think it`s owned by a woman. I actually took a picture of it on my mobile.
I`ve just got back from Manchester Royal Infirmary,seems I`m going to need another hip replacement soon,so it looks like my beloved coupe will have to go as it`s much too low.

Sprint Blue Saturday about 3pm between Trelawnyd and Dyserth

Then 3 yesterday! A silver one in the short stay car park at the top of Conwy, with a French plate on

Then an inky black(?) one parked on the high street in Conwy, and a green one by the Tesco/cinema roundabout @ Junction, on the way home from Conwy.
I wasn't in Meryl yesterday though so didnt flash, and I can't tell you if they were 16v's, 20'v, NAs, or Turbos as I was just a little bit tipsy.....

Yes this one was from Llangoed and it was recently stolen and crashed, I had heard that the owner had got a bonnet from Bulgaria for £35!!! But sadly have not seen it since and that was a couple of months ago $°\($

I take it from Mistress' post that she isn't a forum member then, so can post freely that she needs to have better lane discipline, put it that way - I was late to work & she didn't help. $\:mad\:$ I looked over as I went past (eventually) in a (semi) friendly way & was surprised to see the age/gender of the driver - not your usual Coupe driver put it that way.

Having driven to the Cotswolds this weekend in a rare long distance trip in the Coupe - and not spotted a SINGLE other Coupe all trip, I saw one for sale in North Wales today! $\:o$

I was on the way to Prestatyn with work & I spotted a yellow 20v Turbo for sale in Cars of Prestatyn on the end of the row of stock as an eye catcher! S plated model, with LE type skirts & front valance, and a rather large & vulgar boot spoiler. Stopped to take some photos, and it's pretty tidy (apart from the 'Kevin' accessories - including a dodgy turbo badge on the boot) - with a good spec. (air, black leather). Seems to have some history - mileage is in the 70k's, and it's up for £2995. The plate is S534DHT, and had a Clwyd Cars tax disc holder - but some of the history in the window suggests it's spent time in West Yorkshire. Anyone know it? $\:\?$

My missus made her debut behind the Coupe wheel last night (dark, very wet, approx. 275 bhp through the front wheels - perfect conditions!) for a quick blast & she now knows the score! $;\)$ She says she wants a yellow car next - well, talk about a co-incidence, so we could be a Mr & Mrs Coupe soon!

She insisted on doing THREE tunnel runs in Caernarfon before I could go home!

And this is from a woman that has a Puma 1.7 as a daily driver (reasonable power & a sweet chassis/handler) plus an avid karter - so to impress her into considering one was no mean feat. $\:#$

That's unless Pini-Statyn beats her to it & buys a local runner instead of resurrecting his!! $\:D$

Could well be staff and I've never had to park in that bit before, so have never noticed it.

Had a MINT Broom 20VT follow me out od Llandundo, I then followed him through to Conwy, got a wave.

I would expect he was a member on here, his Coupe was exemplary.

Also spotted a P plate Portofino 20VT in Llandudno, parked 4 spaces up from you and left a note on windscreen.

Silver Coupe on A5 Saturday evening, flashed and got wave.

Went for a haircut near Williams Street in Holyhead yesterday & parked opposite Rob's Barbers was an older gentleman (someone shouted "Hello Brian" at him) with a P plate 20v NA. The black P plated 20v Turbo was again in the DVLA car park in Bangor today, looking rather clean & handsome. I noticed that the exhaust has burnt the rear bumper too - and they have cut a V where it was damaged - also a bit of a scuff on the side of the bumper. Get that bumper changed and it would look ace!

I also spotted a yellow one, it was a car behind me driving through Hawarden this morning about 7.15, it was either a 16v, 16VT or a 20v, the wheels gave it away but I couldn't see the reg plate to get and age which could have narrowed it down. It was behind me all the way down to Airbus where it turned into the Airbus main gate.

Oh, and your O/S side light is out!

financial difficulties,job changes and it had a few jobs needed doing which i just didnt have the money and time to do,until i get back of agency work and into a proper job,was on 18k before i lost that job and ended up on crap money now,and theres not much out there still,so it had to go,

Couldn't remember what it was called. Caroline always spots the coupes before me. I think she's trying to prove she deserves a coupe of her own. Can't argue really.

There are more Mondeo's than coops in Prestatyn aren't there? Just shows the little hick town has exceptional taste.

Another spot! The Porto blue 20VT with LE lips was in the B+Q car park in Rhyl on Saturday, really nice clean looking coop. Don't think the guy's on here.

Oh and ANOTHER spot! red 16v/16vt (I think) with white multi-spoke alloys at St. Asaph Petrol station on friday evening. Gave the guy a smile, I think he thought I was a right freak, and he'd be right!

Coop2 (twoop) as i know her is still going, just about and i take her to llandrill college every tuseday doing my HNC in engineering, she's a bloody nightmare to park and i normally have to park round the back of beyond and walk to the classes, which is not good for my knee, i'll be back on a walking stick at this rate!

I msut admit i have not seen another coop for MONTHS and MONTHS until the other night, comming home from flint I caught a glimpse of the unmistakable shape and colour of a pinto blue coop, just outside boddelwydden on the A55, i think i've seen him before once.
