Three spots today...

Silver on M25 travelling East by the A3 at around 1pm

Sprint blue on M4 near Reading going towards London at about 1.45? Red one a bit later on also going East on M4 (near Hungerford maybe) ... we were in bro's 406 coupe going the other way - too much Christmas paraphenalia for the coop

Yesterday, 21st,Jan, about 4:00pm, M25, J11. Sprint blue Coop, probably 20VT, S plate. In the fast lane (where coops belong!)

Overtook the wife's Jag (Black XJ sport with private plate)

We were on our way home from Dover.

Travelling back from Gatwick today I spotted a car transporter on the M25 with a coupe on, but not just one there were 4 $\:o$ They were all pluses or VT6s from the wheels and were covered in a thin plastic covering that they attach to new cars in transit. Noticed one red, two that were grey, although they could have been white and one blue but again it was hard to see if it was metallic or sprint. Could not see what reg plates as they were jammed too close together $\:\($ Would have followed it for the fact that I was on the opposite carriageway, was tempted to do a Bo and Luke traverse of the central reservation but it is a concrete wall now $\:mad\:$

Anyone else spot them?

This is weird! Didn't see them myself, but spookily enough exactly what Bockers said cropped up in conversation yesterday (with a non-coop owner, who knows my passion for them and was talking about getting one himself). Thought it had to be a wind up.

Trying not to get too excited now, in case it's all a bit premature. As Jim says, maybe we'll hear something about them properly in a couple of months.

1996 Blue Metallic 16v NASP on the M4 today, westbound at about 17:15, Port Talbot.

Travelled in 2 car coupe convoy for quite a while. I sped off at one point, then got caught in traffic and he caught up. We waved and flashed as he headed towards Swansea at J42 and I carried on.

First was an Inky, then like 5 mins after was a sprinty (which had a rather annoyed looking driver in, owing to the 6mile tailback) and then a broomy.

Proper spotting-fest yesterday.

Steel grey 20VT heading north on the M1 near A453 turn-off at Nottingham at 0940.

Then saw Sprint Blue T--- RAR (for the second time that day) heading south on the M1 on the same stretch of motorway at about 7.15pm, followed by Ink Black 16v of some description (N--- VRA) a minute or two later near J25 turn-off.

I have travelled that route each day for the last ~3 years and once you get to that junction the inside lane is the one to be in, all the way down to the next junction!

I'm from Portchester and work in Southampton. Sneaky FMIC you have there and your car looked mint!

Maybe I'll stick my nose out and get to the next meet $\:\)$

I was just coming to the end of a fruitless week of Coupe spotting, covering over 1800 miles, when I spotted 2 Coops in 2 miles !

Lovely dark blue metallic one, Wxxx UMO was spotted on the M1 going North today near Nottingham around 16.00. I've a feeling I've seen it before a couple of times in Anglia/Bedfordshire.

Then immediately afterwards, I caught up with a fellow Porto blue going South. (S505 xxx). Drove in convoy for a few miles from Nottingham, until it pulled off into Leicester services. Good colour, but shame about the pale patch on the front bumper $\:\)$ . Just wish mine had been cleaner, rather than being caked in half an inch of French mud !

Anyone on here?

Hi Bikenut. That was me and the misses. The weather got even worse. It took us 4 and half hours to get from warrington down to bath!!

It was a bit of a nightmare trip for me too. 4 1/2 hours from Cumbria to Lichfield

It was strange though, I was thinking on the way down that I drive 400 miles on the M6 every weekend and I havn't ever seen another coop, then I saw you.

I was amazed at how far down a line of traffic that the coop stands out, I could spot the circular lights when you were miles ahead $\:#$

Everytime i go on the m6 i see a coop without fail, its bizarre lol, recently have seen a nice porto 20vt from a distance, was going on m6 south brum toll road, i was going m6 south, looked abs stunning with the sun glinting on it, still cant get over how good these cars look when in motion (driving past etc)

Yellow Coupe spotted this afternoon heading towards London on the M40 - Oxfordshire area(or closer to London) - guy driving with woman passenger.

Also, a W plate dark blue metallic 20v NA on the M40 which turned off on the A429 to Warwick. Young guy wearing shades driving - I was checking the car out from the passener seat of my dark blue Corsa as we drove past.

Drove over 800 miles from Saturday morning to today, (In the Spider) and saw just one Coupe on the entire journey.

Porto Blue going South on the A1 somewhere North of York, and South of Scotch Corner on Sunday morning around 11.

Registration was R604 or R406 or something. Didn't see any more from a distance

Nightmare - couldn't do that everyday. It was almost as bad again from J7 - J6. No wonder you're not using the Coupe for the commute!

I used to run a 306 DTurbo before I got the Coupe. Great fun car and pretty pokey for a diesel. Didn't notice anything wrong with yours but they all have passive rear wheel steering though so guess the wheels might not always appear to be in line

dark red coop on M25 heading from kent towards Dartford Bridge. Drew behind and flashed lights once and waved (but no response) before I had to turn off for Bluewater taking kids to see night in museum (rating: 3/5). Probably thought I was some nutter - so not completely wrong then.

I was in a VW Camper Van I'd just bought and gave them (2 in the car) a toot on the horn and thumbs up. Got a wink back!

They got of at the M6 junction.

Two in one day! Return trip to Watford... First one, R-plate Sprinty (presumably 20vt) heading North, just South of M1 J15 at 18.00, went past me in outside lane.

Second one, just pulling out of M1 J19 (or was it 20?), Electric Blue (presumably Plus) at around about 18.30.

I was hobbling along along in lane one, as I was carrying some IT gear back up from Watford, in convoy with a colleague, value unknown. And two other words, expenses and overtime :-)

That was probably me - you followed me in the outside lane for a couple of miles before turning off?

Interesting that you noticed the lights - they are standard, but in polished recesses - it makes quite a difference, doesn't it?

Ah - you meant the front lights, not the rears! Fronts are HIDs - 200% better than the standard items - one of the best mods I've ever done. They are only 35W as well - many kits are 55W

Went down to milton keaynes last week, was a passenger going down so i was doing a bit of 'top gear twitching' ogling the motors passing on the other side, only saw one sprint blue Fiat coupe going north bound on the um.... M6 or M56... last sunday afternoon. I only mention it because there was only one, and likewie i only saw one lamboguini too. This is for me definitive proof of the exclusivity of the coupe.

Driving down the M5 last Tuesday (6/4/10) ,around the bristol area,I came passed a speed red coupe being towed by a Jap MPV of some sort.
In the drivers seat of the coupe was a young lad with a very BIG grin on his face.
The coupe was in a bad way with some panel damage on the offside.
And the tow sugested it was a none runner.

I'm sure (because of his smile) this young man had aquired the coupe for a restoration.

Lets hope he's on here already or finds the forum quickly as it looks like he'll need help.

Still it looks like another coupe is going to be saved from the scrapheap.

I was in a silver VW T5 Kombi Transporter with Boardwise logos (as many surfboards needed on trip) so didn't wave.

Anyways, saw a coop, which i'm guessing was poorly on the M4 near the Bath & Stroud exit at about 8.30pm i think it was.

I say poorly becuase it was pootling along on the inside lane with another car close behind it.

... unless of course it was towing the other other car? (it was dark)

Silver 20VT, possibly an LE, heading north on the A1 near Ferrybridge about half two yesterday. Saw you slam the brakes on to avoid the attentions of the parked-up rozzer - but he wasn't paying any attention when I went past the other way a few seconds earlier, seemed to be fiddling with some paperwork.

I was there at this time, coming down A34, M3, M27 and onto Brighton. Was a nightmare. Wouldn't have missed mine, in my green 20vt still with pink/yellow track tyres on!

1st a red not sure what model but did have dark wheels only caught a glimps, heading north on the M6 just past Birmingham about 1130 ish this morning

2nd steel grey LE this after noon around half 3 on the M6 heading south buy Birmingham again looked nice from what I saw.

Sprinty heading westbound nr junction 10 on m25 around 5.45pm today.
I was going eastbound in Custard

5 minutes later clocked an f40 also on m25 westbound.

And spotted 2 Barchettas on my Bristol to Brighton journey. Yellow heading westbound along m4 around 4 near Swindon, and a very nice red on the a329 Bracknell cut through near the m3 two cars behind me around 5.15

Repeated spot, this one. You are a Broom Yellow T-reg 20vt (I guess) who seems to commute southbound on the M1 at about 1730/1745. I usually spot you somewhere between J47 and J46, Garforth area.

You wont have noticed me, because I'm going the other way, and in my daily which is not a Fiat Coupe.

Enjoyed escorting a blue(?) Plus(?) V65 *** on the M4 this evening, left me at the Windsor/Slough exit.

Made the drive home in the wet & dark more tolerable. Hence why I cannot confirm the exact colour/model.

Broomer going south on the M1 east of Leeds, a couple of miles north of the M62, about 1.15 this afternoon. Looked like it was on Irish plates.

Blue 20vt spotted 11:30pm last night. It got off at jct15 M6. I flashed and beeped as I went past. Passenger tail light was out ;-) First one I have seen out for a long time. I drive to and from Manchester every week and this is the first one.

Scots green coupe spotted on M5 Northbound near junction 21 Weston Super Mare at about 7pm on Saturday 25th April. Could not see pillar badges as I was travelling in opposite direction and did not wave/flash as I was not in my Coupe.

Really foggy conditions, a Scotty (I think - possibly an inky) sat in heavy traffic heading south at junction 25 on the M1 around 4.15 today, I was heading north, just getting off at that junction in a Bravo.
I had come up from Oxford, the motorway was stood still more often than it was moving, hope the traffic eased for you.
