At least thats what it said in the back of the previous one.
A sprintey,a Scottie and an inky apparently.

A bit of recognition - 02/09/2012 13:19
I thought i would post up here as its a much more popular section that has the most traffic.
As some of you are aware thee will be a feature in AutoItalia this month as discussed briefly here in the news and press section
http://www.fiatcoupeclub.org/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1370657#Post1370657Have a look on here and it will give a little taster into what will be released on Wednesday
http://www.auto-italia.co.uk/The homepage scrolls automatically but three Coupes are featured in what is the Magazines biggest selling edition yet
The 200th
Thanks to all involved especially the ones who travelled the distance and stayed overnight to be a part of this or to help on the day.
Was a brilliant feature and well organised by all involved, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.
A few special guests showed up and im hoping there visable to see in the pictures.
Nice to give something back to the Forum but mainly to rekindle the coupe as a recognised future classic.
Looking forward to getting this, get yourself a copy at WHSmiths or most superstores.

Fantastic too those involved, getting another great feature keeps the marque in the public eye and can only benefit the values in the future.
Also with it been the 200th edition is a bonus along side such greats as the Ferrari 250 GTO. Etc.

Re: Auto Italia 200th edition triple coupe feature. - 06/09/2012 10:56
Firstly, just like to give a big thanks to JBT & crew for arranging this event.
Auto Italia invited us to participate in a full length feature at Bruntingthorpe, on the most extremely tuned turbo Coupes on the planet. So, we thought it’ll be an opportunity lost, not to share our achievements locally and globally. This is the most comprehensive media feature to date, which can only put the Fiat Coupe back in the limelight, boasting a six cover spread of fantastic and inspiring reading.
For those who have followed Torque Italia’s 500+bhp developments over two years would appreciate the pioneering break through achieved in the Fiat Coupe tuning realm, setting new standards. Teaming up with like-minded and enthusiastic owners/traders has proved fruitful recently, and we have decided to embark upon a Fiat Coupe tuning marketing campaign for the future.
Previously, an attempt was made to feature a tuned Fiat Coupe 2.0 20v turbo in Auto Italia, anyone know who’s it is?
Chris Rees briefly quoted below:
“things had already burst the 400bhp barrier when, a few years back, I drove a tuned Fiat Coupe. Frankly, it was border line scary, with wallow around corners and the sort of torque steer that demands extreme caution”Be interested to know who built it?
Highlights of the day, head to head blast with five a breast 500bhp coupe’s on a runway, and who won???
Disputed currently, rematch on the cards, very soon……………
Keep the media focused events coming.
Get your copy now!
Thanks
Barbz

but the reviews on both Johns car and Pero`s car are equally as good

So come on then, who did actually win, and what speeds did you reach?!
As for the other Coupe featured a few years ago, that was Eldino's 429bhp
This was DrFrag's old LE, and had a pretty good suspension setup, especially for those that can remember it drifting nicely around Silverstone!

Was contacted by Phil yesterday who's the editor/owner of auto Italia and he said he was so impressed with the feature that he went out and bought a 20vt coupe.
Considering the hardware this man gets loaned to him daily I think we can only take this as testiment to how good the coupe really is amidst strict competition.

We weren't in control of the wording Reuben .
We showed up,did the feature and left.
Even to the day it was released we didn't know they would do such a big feature in the 200 th anniversary edition.
Copyright ,access and permissions prevented any thanks or references unless prior arranged with those parties.
It was a feature on the cars and to the guys who created them.

I'm not sure why, but it looks like people are afraid to really push the boundaries. And I mean customers, not the tuners. People seem to go for what's tried and tested rather than going all out and trying something new.
That's why I went in a totally different direction. Not many people had faith, including Flea when he started mapping the car, but in the end it all came together and the outcome was pretty special.
An even bigger problem is people not wanting to spend the money on developing the Coupe to such levels. It's understandable since the cars are now worth less and less but what most people fail to see is that with a fraction of the cost of any other major car/engine builds, you can go faster with a coupe than almost any other car. And it's something unique.

Re: Auto Italia 200th edition triple coupe feature. - 14/09/2012 22:30
The main reason for this has always been because the coupe is there only form of transport. Those people on the forum with s second car are more likey to push it because there not depending on it to run them to work in the morning

Don't you have an LE?
Posted By: knight7660
Re: Auto Italia 200th edition triple coupe feature. - 14/09/2012 22:57
I ment + pool cars
I have my black LE which is having a normal forge build as we speak then wine red vis which is daily drive when I'm not using a free car and fuel
Once the LE has be run in and mapped (plus a couple of track days for goid measure) it will be going to a friend for is coupe and the new engine will be built.

Nice to see people taking interest, that's what its all about!
John S' coupe was a very special car indeed and a one off at its time. A shame we never got a chance to push the publicity on it.
As i said earlier, we took to the initiative to promote the tuned coupe scene with great success.
Even though current power levels are similar to John's, we have made major breakthrough's with all the current platforms which are as follows:
2.5L Engine platform
First 2.0L 82mm Engine runing 2bar boost@8350rpm, 563hp
500+hp with stock manifold
500+hp Stock cams (TI cam settings)
3.5inch exhaust systems.
GTX and Billet turbo debut's
Push type single plate clutch kit (450lbs rating)
Oem ecu management,
BC coilovers

Great news for more press on the coupe.
Spot on
Shame no real mention of the club or forum
Pretty sure that the guys there that day would have no say on what was printed, good or bad.
I'm pretty sure this forum is the only one dedicated to the fiat coupe in the whole of the UK, google fiat coupe forum and fccuk turns up, not that hard to find if you are interested in the fiat coupe. With help of the great press as stated above I'm sure there will be more people searching " fiat coupe forum " in the future.
Well done
girls guys

Purely an observational point... I did not realise there were only 220 broomy 'Grale's - most of the Evo's I have seen are either red or yellow.
Snapped in Maranello 2 weeks ago:
Were the red ones limited in number too, out of interest?

There were 220 yellow evo 2's (my mate has one) there were a limited number of yellow evo 1's which were a different (actually a ferrari) yellow.
I beleive Red, blue and white evo 2's weren't limited in number but I dont know how many we're produced, official german cars were badged sedici and official uk cars were badged monte Carlo as far as I am aware, again these are limited in number.
The car in the photo is an evo 1, don't know if it's an official yellow one? Lots have been resprayed.

Didnt we work out you own 5 Coupe's? Offer 4 of them as part ex!
They make the hooligans car of choice, the Orange Ford Focus RS, look tame IMHO!

Midlands car servicing and torque Italia will be mentioned in the next few editions but were not sure how much at the moment.
We were also invited to an exclusive event in the early months of next year which sounds fun.
This edition will be out spring time.
Novembers edition of practical performance car magazine also has quite a feature of two coupes at Santa Pod in it so make sure you pick up a copy .
Out on the last week of October.
I'm not in this one though
