Hello all,any ideas why my gear lever is now quite stiff to move afterc hanging a six speed box and now I have this issue.is there any remedy for this please(without taking box back off

How Long was the box you've put in standing for? Might be worth a few weeks of daily use, and new fluid...

Been on the car a few years now.Doesn't really bother me that much,I just wondered all this time what it could be that's all.Did the fluid but no difference,oh well!ill just put up with it
Sounds like the idler arm needs cleaning, that's the arm at the back of the selector mechanism on top of the gearbox.
